Dr Botanicals are the world’s number one vegan skincare brand and are based in the UK. They offer an extensive range of luxury skincare, which contain 100% natural paraben-free ingredients, and all have environmentally conscious packaging.

As part of the Dr Botanicals review panel*, I’ve discovered some lovely skincare products including this Moroccan Rose Light Summer Cream. This lightweight cream, designed for all skin types, contains Rose Flower Water, Coconut Oil and Tiare Flower Extract to calm, soothe, hydrate and deeply moisturise the skin while leaving it feeling fresh and balanced (so especially great for skin that is prone to breakouts!).

This particular style of packaging is often controversial, but for me the metal tube cuts down on product wastage which is always a bonus in my book! The fragrance isn’t too strong in rose, and has a slight sweetness to it which is actually very light and naturally scented, but is quite luxurious at the same time. This lightweight formula melts into the skin almost instantly, leaving it soft and supple for most of the day. I also found that it sat well under make-up and kept even my dry skin feeling hydrated and nourished. I didn’t experience any irritation at all and a little product certainly goes a long way. If you’d like to see what other products I love from the brand, including one which featured in my Top Ten of 2017, then you can see them here.

*Disclaimer: I was sent this product free of charge after signing up to become a member of the Dr Botanicals review panel in 2017. The only cost to me was the postage. The product was sent in return for an honest Feefo review and I was under no obligation to give positive feedback or review in a blog post. All the thoughts about the product are my own.
