As many of you know, Guiltless Skin are one of my favourite skincare brands, and to add to their amazing brand ethos and dedication to support wildlife and the natural world we live, they have recently been certified organic by The Soil Association too!
I decided to try the Rosehip Cleansing Gel and Face Oil duo, as the benefits of rosehip is fantastic for a dry and dehydrated skin like mine, aswell as a nourishing, repairing and anti-aging oil for all skin types. This duo, which can also be purchased separately, came in this lovely drawstring cotton bag making it perfect as a gift for someone special (or as a treat for yourself!).
The Rosehip Cleansing Gel comes in this air pump bottle which not only eradicates product waste but also makes it incrediably easy to dispense. Just 1 to 2 pumps onto damp hands is enough to create a gentle lather which cleanses the skin without stripping it of its own natural oils. My skin felt lovely and fresh after use, and I didn’t experience any tightness at all. I personally love to use this as a second cleanse after an oil cleanser, as it really leaves skin looking and feeling clean and soft and has the added bonus of being fragrance free. I’ve been using this everyday for the past few weeks and I haven’t experienced any irritation or breakouts since, and I still have quite a lot of product left. This is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a gentle cleansing gel to intergrate into your skincare routine.
I am already a fan of rosehip oil as both a carrier and dry oil, and love that Guiltless Skin’s Organic Rosehip Oil is pure and cold-pressed with absolutely nothing added or taken away – just as nature intended. The orange nectar has a non-greasy, silky texture which absorbs quickly into the skin leaving behind no residue at all. Again, just as the cleansing gel, this oil is fragrance free, so it won’t disturb any scents of previous skincare items. Since using alongside the Rosehip Cleansing Gel, my skin has felt nourished and hydrated – even with the changeable British weather! Sometimes skincare should be simple and stripped back, something which Guiltless Skin’s Organic Rosehip Oil certainly achieves!
This duo has certainly reaffirmed my love for Guiltless Skin products, as the range and quality is among the best i’ve tried and I am yet to meet a product I don’t like!
