Timeless Truth are a beauty brand best known for their facial masks, a product which have won them several accolades and finalist positions in awards such as The Beauty Shortlist in 2016.  All Timeless Truth products are cruelty free and free from parabens, and have innovation at the centre of their brand.

I was recently sent a selection of Timeless Truth face masks by Michael at Beauty Belle, which were all aimed at my dry and dehydrated skin. I was excited to see how they performed, especially as I had heard so many great things…

Black Charcoal Mask Series: Hydra-intense Black Charcoal Mask

I am a big fan of charcoal in skincare yet this was my first experience using a charcoal sheet mask. The black charcoal mask is made from rayon fibres, and is designed to help with blemished skin, promote healing and maintain skin’s natural moisture. The mask itself was very comfortable to wear as it was soft and plyable to adjust to my face shape, and it contained a good amount of serum on both the mask and in the sachet, so there was plenty of product to use down the neck and décolletage. After use, my thirsty skin felt quenched, hydrated and incredibly smooth. As I don’t have blemish-prone skin, I can’t comment too much on this aspect however I didn’t experience any breakouts or irritation after use. This has certainly reaffirmed my love of charcoal beauty products and I’d definitely use this mask again in the future.

Soft Touch Series: Bulgaria Rose Extract and Grape Seed Oil Firming Mask

This was the mask I was most excited to try, as we all know the calming benefits that rose has on dry and sensitive skin. The thin cotton sheet was great on the face and held it’s position well, even when walking around (I like to multi-task!). The rose really soothed my skin and the grape seeed oil, which is designed to tighten pores, certainly made my skin look smoother and less flaky. My irritated and dry skin certainly looked nourished after using the soft touch mask and definitely felt better than before. I would definitely recommend this to dry skin sufferers in need of moisture boost.

Bio Cellulose Mask Series: Deep Sea Extract Hydrating Bio Cellulose Mask

The final mask I was sent to try was the deep sea extract bio cellulose mask which contains hyaluronic acid and algae extract to boost hydration and radiance. I actually enjoyed the texture of a bio cellulose mask, which has a set gel-like texture, as forms a second skin on the face and allows the skin to breathe during application. My skin felt extremely hydrated and really soft; effects which lasted for several days after use. As the bio cellulose mask is more cooling than a traditional sheet mask, it really helped to calm facial redness from the warm weather we’ve had recently. If you’ve got dehydrated skin in need of a good old dose of hyaluronic acid then this is the mask for you.

Overall, I have been really impressed by the quality and performance of Timeless Truth masks. All three masks have been among the best fitting sheet masks I’ve tried and have certainly delivered on their promises. I have to say that the Bulgaria Rose Extract and Grape Seed Oil Firming Mask is probably my favourite and felt the most beneficial for my skin concerns, however I wouldn’t hesitate to use the others again in the future. Top masks for Timeless Truth.
