I love it when my favourite skincare brands launch new products, so I couldn’t be happier to see Guiltless Skin release a few new items to their already extensive product range.

As a fan of skincare featuring charcoal, I was very excited to try out the new Clarify: Charcoal Cleansing Powder. As with all Guiltless Skin products, it is cruelty-free and vegan friendly.

The activated charcoal from coconut and Kaolin clay is designed to cleanse pores and draw out toxins and impurities in order to leave your skin feeling smoother and looking brighter.

The glass bottle makes the powder easy to dispense, keeps the cleansing powder free-from moisture and is also eco-friendly as the brand moves to eradicate all plastic packaging.

The powder itself in very fine and soft, so it easily mixes with a few drops of water and begins to lather. Much like powder face masks, you are best to add small drops of water to get it to the desired consistency rather than add a lot at one time as it can get messy! It took me a few attempts to get the right ratio of water to powder, but after couple of attempts, it is so easy to use. The lather is very gentle on the skin and didn’t dry my face out at all. It was easy to rinse off, and left my skin feeling fresh and a lot smoother and softer to the touch. Just don’t forget to wash your hands thoroughly after use.

I personally love to use it as part of my second cleanse in the evening, as it really ensures my skin is clean and clear of make-up and impurities, but it would also be great as a face wash in the morning too. I’ve noticed a big difference in my pores, which seem less congested in just over a week, and I’ve experienced no irritation or breakouts since I began using the Clarify: Charcoal Cleansing Powder. My skin also looks noticeably brighter, so much so that I’ve had more make-up free days in the past week. The great news is that you only need a small amount of powder with every use, and even though I’ve been using it for over a week, there is a lot of product left as the bottle looks almost full.

This really is a lovely and innovative product that is perfect for all skin types and is amazing value for money. As it comes in powder form, it ensures that you won’t have any spillages when travelling and you’ll have absolutely no product waste. The amazing results I’ve experienced in such a short time, and the £10.00 price tag, ensures that this will certainly be repurchased when it runs out, and I can’t wait to see the long term effects of using this cleansing powder.
