Nakin Skincare had been on my radar for some time and when I saw the brand on Rare Beauty, I knew this was my chance to finally try them out.

Nakin are a luxury natural skincare brand who pride themselves on creating skincare which uses skin enhancing ingredients to target skin concerns associated with the natural aging process; an element which is captured in the brand’s ethos of beautiful skin at every age.  The ethical brand is leaping bunny registered, uses sustainable products and produces its skincare range in a green factory right here in the UK.

I am always on the lookout for a great facial toner, as toning is a step in my skincare routine that I never miss. Nakin’s Purifying Face Toner is formulated with aloe vera, witch hazel, hyaluronic acid and seaweed to smooth, plump and even the skin tone while also soothing and conditioning the skin. The toner itself has a lovely fresh, clean scent that is refreshing on the skin yet doesn’t have the strong astringent scent I was initially expecting. I didn’t experience any tightness or dry patches after use, as the hyaluronic acid maintains skin’s hydration levels, and my skin felt clean and well-balanced. As it’s suitable for even the most sensitive skin, the purifying toner didn’t leave behind any irritation or redness and actually made my skin feel calmer and cooler during the recent heatwave. I’ve been using this for several weeks now, and have to say that it is certainly going the distance. I have quite a lot of product left, and due to it’s reasonable price tag of just £15.00, I think it’s great value for money. It is also vegan friendly, free from wheat and gluten, and suitable for all skin types – so a real all-rounder if you ask me!

I have to say that i’ve been impressed by Nakin’s Purifying Face Toner as it has really exceeded my expectations. As a product, it does exactly what is designed to do and I love how a little product goes a very long way. My skin enjoyed the refreshing tonic which left it feeling fresh and calm without any dryness at all. As for the brand, you’ll go a long way to find one which is so open about it’s practices, product development and ethics, as their website is full of information so there is no need to second-guess what kind of brand Nakin really is. If you’re in the market for a new toner, then this might just the the one for you. I can’t wait to try out more Nakin products in the not-so-distant future as it is certainly a brand to watch…

Have you tried any Nakin products? If not you can find their full range over on their website or at Rare Beauty.

Take Care,
