As many of you know, Guiltless Skin are one of my favourite brands as their dedication to great skincare is one to be admired. Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to be on the testing panel for their first ever facial moisturiser, so you can imagine my delight to see it finally launch a few month’s ago.
Timeless Daily Moisturiser is different from other natural moisturisers i’ve tried in the past as not only does it have a matte finish but it is also incredibly lightweight and nourishing. The texture is unlike any other product i’ve used as it’s so light, and has a airy feel to it that makes it a dream to use.
Despite it’s weightless texture, it certainly doesn’t lack when it comes to moisturising and hydrating the skin thanks to the addition of some powerhouse ingredients. Timeless Daily Moisturiser contains prickly pear oil, which is rich in polyphenols and phytosterols, to help retain the skin’s natural moisture, stimulate cell product, protect and calm any redness. Kalahari watermelon seed oil makes this moisturiser rich in antioxidants to protect and repair from free radicals as well as soften and smooth the skin, alongside vitamin B3 which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. To give a final boost of hydration, my favourite hyaluronic acid makes an appearance to lock in moisture and help hydrate even the most dehydrated skin.
Even though my skin is incredibly dry, Timeless Daily Moisturiser works perfectly within my skincare routine in conjunction with both my water-based and oil-based serums, and is perfect under my face oils and balms. I find that during the Autumn and Winter months, skincare is even more beneficial if layered as it helps to maintain moisture throughout the day. Timeless Daily Moisturiser is the only matte moisturiser i’ve found so far that enables me to layer products effectively yet is nourishing enough to wear it on it’s own as a daily moisturiser.
Timeless Daily Moisturiser has certainly given me gloriously moisturised skin and a healthier looking complexion – all with an incredibly lightweight formula which leaves a beautiful lightweight finish with no greasy residue or clogged pores.
