When it comes to eye products, we all have our favourites. I’m always blown away by the results of Alexa Sky Botanicals’ Cactus Fruit Eye Serum as it is the only one that has truly made a difference to my under eye darkness, puffiness and hydration levels. So when Alexa Sky Botanicals announced they’d released an eye balm you could imagine my delight. The thought that there was another eye product from one of my favourite brands was exciting, especially as this one was also multipurpose.

Alpine Cellular Complex Eye Balm* by Alexa Sky Botanicals is multi-use balm which contains skin loving ingredients such as Arnica flower oil, macadamia nut oil, mango butter, cucumber fruit oil and lavender essential oil to nourish, hydrate, smooth, soften and protect the skin; all while reducing puffiness, brightening dark circles and targeting fine lines and wrinkles. The balm is gentle on even the most sensitive skin and can also be used on dry cuticles, lips and eyebrows as well intensely nourishing dry skin on the face and body. Alpine Cellular Complex Eye Balm is also supercharged with Rose Quartz, a crystal associated with harmonising relationships to bring acceptance of ourselves and others around us.

The balm itself is silky smooth with a lightweight texture that glides onto the skin with ease, leaving behind a subtle sheen which is not greasy or sticky in any way. The scent is light and captures the true essence of the natural ingredients that gives the balm its unique quality that certainly sets it aside from anything i’ve used in the past.

I’ve been using this for around a week now and can say that I was a fan from the first application. My under eye area felt instantly moisturised, incredibly soft and the addition of light-reflecting particles certainly brightened my inherited dark circles. The balm sits well under make-up and is a skin saviour when it comes to dry patches around my nose and across my cheeks. As a lip balm, it buffs in well to leave a demi-matte finish that hydrates the lips for several hours after use. What I love most is that a little balm goes a long way, meaning this little pot of joy will last for a good few months. It’s been a nice change from my usual serum, as the texture has certainly made it more versatile in its uses. I love how the eye balm is a multipurpose product too, as it makes it the ideal product for travelling as one product really aids a multitude of beauty needs.

I can’t wait to see how the Alpine Cellular Complex Eye Balm performs over the next couple of weeks as i’ve been blown away by first impressions. The way in which the balm has performed as both an eye balm and a multipurpose beauty balm has been impressive, and I can only imagine the long-term effects will continue to wow me.
