|AD – PR Product| The Natural Beauty Box has been one of my favourite subscription boxes for several years now, with each monthly box boasting incredible brands and great savings…

February’s ‘Face Time’ box was full of beautiful skincare items that targeted a variety of facial skin concerns from dryness to blemishes – and even a product to help condition those lashes. The box contained 5 products with a combined value of £93.69, making this one of the best savings i’ve seen in a long time! What made the Face Time collection even more exciting for me was that there were two new-to-me brands featured and this was the first time I had tried any of the products inside…

The first item in February’s box was the Herbal Face Oil from new-to-me brand Marina Miracle (£36.00). The Herbal Face Oil has been formulated to help both dry and combination skin, balancing the skin while deeply moisturising to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and leave skin more radiant. The skin loving ingredients can also help to soothe irritation and eczema, which sounded perfect for my own skin concerns so I was excited to see how it performed.

First impressions have been great so far as the face oil has a milky texture that is highly absorbent, leaving skin feeling silky to the touch with a light herbal aroma that is perfectly balanced and not overpowering in any way. For me personally, as someone with a dry skin type, I tend to use this more as a serum under my moisturiser, yet if you do have a more normal/combination/oily skin type, then this could work perfectly as your facial oil or moisturiser. I have been enjoying the short term results over the past few weeks and cannot wait to see how it performs over a longer period of time.

I was very excited to see the next product within February’s box as not only is it from a great brand but also something I feel I need within my beauty routine right now. Wildtree Skincare’s Organic Gentle Lash Oil (£15.00) is a fragrance-free oil designed to thicken, condition and lengthen lashes as well as help to thicken brows.

The minimal formulation makes it great for use around the eyes, with the combination of castor, almond and jojoba oils giving a lightweight and absorbent consistency that doesn’t irritate the eyes. I’ve been using this for nearly too weeks so far so it is a little too soon to tell if this oil is working its magic just yet however i’m excited to see any results after a few more weeks (i’ll keep you updated!).

Organic Works are a great brand i’ve discovered in previous edits of The Natural Beauty Box, and as their products always give exceptional results, i’m always happy to see their products appear. Their Super Intensive Moisturiser (£23.00) does exactly what it says on the bottle, with a rich, thick consistency that leaves skin feeling intensely moisturised throughout the day, keeping flaky patches at bay even when outside in the wind or indoors with the central heating.

I have to say that I have enjoyed everything about this so far however the natural aroma does take a little time to get used to, especially if you usually use a product with essential oils. Overall, I will happily continue using this as we head into the Spring as my dry skin seems very happy with the formulation so far.

The two final products in last month’s edit was from yet another new-to-me brand, with an Anti-Blemish Gel Pen (£11.80) and Rose Heart Konjac Sponge (£7.89) from Lady Green. This was the first time i’d heard of this French natural skincare brand but first impressions have been great so far. The Konjac Sponge is nice quality and the heart shape is not only visually pleasing but also makes it great for removing cleanser from around your nose as it naturally contours around your face.

The Anti-Blemish Gel Pen has been formulated with soothing ingredients such aloe vera and neem to help reduce redness and calm the irritation from a breakout. As I only get fleeting hormonal blemishes, I don’t feel i’ve really put this through its paces as yet however when I did use this, I felt like it reduced the heat and swelling a little and the pimple didn’t seem to stick around quite as long. I can also see me keeping this in my handbag during the Summer months as I feel it will be great for any bites or heat rashes too, especially as the packaging makes it perfect for on the go applications.

All in all, I have to say that the Face Time Collection really delivered some incredible results in a short space of time. I loved the mix of British Indie brands alongside some European brands too, as it gives you the opportunity to explore products that you may have not discovered without The Natural Beauty Box. Emma always manages to curate such a great variety of products and it is safe to say that February’s was certainly no exception.
