|AD – PR Product| Nourish London’s latest launch had me excited to say the least, with a product that promised to restore hydration and improve the performance of my other skincare products. The Ceramide Moisture Boost Essence lays the foundation of a great skincare routine, sandwiched in between toning and serum application to prepare the skin for the rest of your routine while helping to protect, repair and mimic your skin’s natural moisturising factor for skin that looks and feels at its best.

Now I am relatively new to using essences within my skincare routine, as last year was the first time I really started to introduce them into my regime. Thankfully, Nourish London’s Ceramide Moisture Boost Essence has been one of my favourite’s to date thanks to the wealth of beautiful, vegan friendly ingredients, stunning texture and incredible performance that made this an integral part to both my AM and PM skincare ritual.

The essence contains ceramides, a lipid found in the outermost layer of the skin or epidermis that maintains a healthy skin barrier and regulates the moisture levels on our skin. As it is a naturally occurring fat molecule in our skin, the addition of ceramides in our skincare works in harmony with all skin types to help repair the skin barrier and promote hydration and moisture levels that would otherwise be lost with external stresses such as sun damage and pollution. Nourish London have not only created a vegan ceramide-based essence but have also included other ingredients to harness yet more incredible skin loving properties:

  • Super Greens: An antioxidant-rich blend of upcycled olives and kale sprouts to protect from aging and enchance radiance,
  • Trehalose: To protect against dryness and aid the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF),
  • Probiotic minerals: These include magnesium, zinc, copper and iron minerals to protect from irritants, rebalance sebum production and calm the complexion.
  • Willow bark: To balance the skin and help decongest pores while also keeping the skin hydrated and smooth thanks to its natural exfoliating properties.
  • Hyaluronic acid: To restore hydration and maintain it throughout the day.

The lightweight, milky essence is highly absorbent, leaving the skin feeling silky immediately after use without any sticky or greasy residue. I love how a few drops is all you need, making this generously-sized 100ml bottle incredibly good value for money (after over 8 weeks of use, I’m not even halfway down the bottle). What I love in particular about the essence itself is the scent, with delicate vanilla and benzoin that simply gives a subtle sweet yet warm aroma during application that dissipates quickly after use.

I have to say that Nourish London have really delivered sensational results with their Ceramide Moisture Boost Essence, as my dry and dehydrated skin has never looked or felt better. I love the way that my skin is plump and hydrated throughout the day, even after spending more time indoors with the fire on, and looks more radiant and less lack lustre in its appearance. The texture of my skin has also improved as it feels smoother and softer to the touch while the irritation and redness and around my nose, chin and cheeks has also been reduced. I feel like my products penetrate my skin easier now, having used for several weeks, so much so that I would certainly say that this is now a staple within my skincare routine and a product I wouldn’t want to be without.

If you’re looking for an essence that gives your skin the essentials it needs to look and feel at it’s best, while also integrating seamlessly within your existing routine, I highly recommend trying Nourish London’s Ceramide Moisture Boost Essence for yourself.
