I am always on the lookout for new places to shop sustainable and natural beauty, so you could imagine my excitement when I was recently introduced to BotaniVie by the founder’s of the store…

BotaniVie is run by Samantha and Brendan, a husband and wife team whose passion for natural and ethical beauty products is apparent within every aspect of their online store. The name BotaniVie highlights the very essence of the shop itself; combining the study of plants and the environment with the French translation for life.

Both Samantha and Brendan have a strong commitment to environmentally friendly products, with a brand ethos that is dedicated to supporting small, independent businesses who share their beliefs that beauty products should not only be natural and cruelty free, but also sustainable and plastic-free too. Their mission for Earth-conscious beauty is only the start, with the founders dedicated to giving exceptional customer service that starts from the moment you start browsing the site; ensuring they have a variety of stock to accommodate every skin type and product preference, catering for green beauty enthusiast’s and novices alike! Plus, if you do struggle to find the right products for you, they are more than happy to discuss your needs and select products they believe would benefit your skin type or fit your needs.

Browsing their site is incredibly enjoyable, with an engaging yet simple and clean design which is easy to navigate and reflects upon the very foundations on which the company developed their brand. Navigating from page to page, browsing the brands on offer and even reading their informative blog posts is effortless, with no distracting adverts, pop-up’s or flashing images to detract from the whole experience. What I love in particular is how many ways you can browse BotaniVie’s range, from brands and skin types to product types and ethical collections, you are sure to find what you’re looking for on every visit. The product range itself is exceptional, not only with the wide array of product types available but also the amount of small, indie brands they have stocked, making it easy to support multiple businesses in one place. Expect to see brands such as Acala, Flawless, Silvan Skincare, Scence Skincare, Tabitha Eve, The Edinburgh Natural Skincare Co. and Upcircle, amongst others, with a total of 17 brands each with a great selection of bestselling items available.

As well as a great array of brands, BotaniVie also offer some great incentives to shop with them. From an affiliate and reward scheme, free shipping over £35.00 and a variety of promotions that run throughout the year (as well as some short-date sale items too), there is always a good time to browse and shop with BotaniVie!

Recently, I have been trying out two products from their range of natural and sustainable skincare, both of which are plastic free and innovative in the way they are both solid products.

Scence’s Air Perfume Balm (AD – Gifted) is the first solid perfume i’ve tried yet it certainly won’t be the last. The lightweight tube is perfect for my handbag, making application on the go quick and easy. The Air aroma is fresh and floral, with chamomile and jasmine fragrance oils creating a sensual yet perfectly balanced scent that it perfect for this time of year.

The Edinburgh Natural Skincare Co’s Solid Hand Cream Bar (AD – Gifted) is another product i’ve been trying out and it certainly hasn’t disappointed. It has become another handbag favourite of mine as the hand cream bar is easy to use while out and about and doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy in any way. The solid formulation ensures that you only use what you need, making it great value for money as well as reducing product wastage. The Queen Bee scent version is absolutely beautiful, with a fresh and zesty aroma that is uplifting at any time of the day. The nourishing formulation, containing beautiful skin loving ingredients such as beeswax and cocoa butter, leaves hands feeling soft and supply after use.

A full review of both of these items, as well as future purchases, will be reviewed over on my socials yet it is safe to say that I have been impressed by the Botanivie experience so far.

If you’re looking for a place to shop sustainable, natural beauty then BotaniVie is certainly the place to be. Their dedication to environmental issues, as well as creating the perfect shopping experience is truly admirable and certainly makes shopping natural beauty an enjoyable activity.
