I’ve been a Latest in Beauty subscriber for a while now and have to say that it is one of my favourite beauty boxes. Not only do they have some amazing collection boxes, which are filled with selected goodies in a range of sample size and full-sized products, but they also have a great subscription service where you can choose your own items.
The Latest in Beauty subscription plans give you the freedom to choose a 3, 6 or 9 products which you can cancel at anytime. The range of products to choose from is fantastic, with a new product released each day, which means that you’ll never struggle to find a range of beauty products which are perfect for you.
I subscribe to the 3-product ‘Beauty Novice’ box, as I have way to many products at home, but I like to keep the excitement of a new box each month (and can alter my plan at anytime).
My choices this month were easy and I couldn’t wait to try them out!
Product One: Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash.
Philosophy is already one of my favourite brands and when I saw this, it sounded like the perfect product for me. The micro-exfoliating formula promises to gently polish the skin and scrub away impurities – and it is even suitable for everyday use. It has a lovely subtle scent and a very grainy, gritty texture one would expect from a facial polish. After 60 seconds of buffing in and rinsing, my skin felt silky smooth, clean and had no redness or irritation. Despite it’s categorisation as a facial wash, my skin didn’t feel dry or tight but simply felt nicely exfoliated.
Product Two: Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation in Soft Sand.
This was my first experience of using a loose powder foundation as i’m usually a liquid foundation kind of girl. I had heard such great things about the Nude by Nature brand that I thought this was my perfect opportunity to try them out. Firstly, the packaging is absolutely stunning, and has a very premium feel to it. The powder itself is finely milled and buffs beautifully into the skin, leaving behind a flawless finish which actually looked very natural and skin-like. The powder didn’t dry my skin out at all and stayed in place all day without any issues. Unfortunately, the shade was slightly too warm for me, however it was perfect for my Mum who is now enjoying it for me! If you’re planning on trying a powder foundation then this is certainly a great place to start.
Product Three: Bohemian Chic Minerals Eyeshadow in Pretty in Pink.
This was the first time i’d heard of Bohemian Chic Minerals but after this experience, it certainly won’t be my last! As you know I love a versatile product and this Pretty in Pink eyeshadow definitely ticks all the boxes as it can also be used as a blusher and lip colour, as well as an eyeshadow. This fine powder has a soft velvet finish and sits lovely on the skin. The powder is quite pigmented, and wears incredibly well throughout the day. All the Bohemian Chic Minerals products are vegan friendly and don’t contain any alcohol, additives or chemicals.
