Guiltless Skin are one of my favourite natural skincare brands, and ever since I won some products back in June, I’ve been hooked! I recently purchased some old favourites, but couldn’t resist trying some new products too. Their products, which are all vegan friendly, cruelty free and contain a lot of organic ingredients, are suitable for all skin types as well as problem skin such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Organic Jojoba and Shea Whipped Butter

This is a product which I absolutely fell in love with from the moment I tried it and knew that I’d be repurchasing.  The whipped butter, containing shea butter and jojoba oil, has the closest texture to actual butter than any other body butter I’ve tried in the past. It is thick and rich, yet melts on the fingertips. It leaves your skin with a lovely sheen and feels incredibly moisturised for several hours. As jojoba oil has been proven to help with dry skin and eczema, it really helped with my allergy-induced skin irritations and generally left my skin feeling more nourished and in better condition. Since my first experience with this product, my Mum developed a severe skin irritation on her hands, and after trying multiple creams and ointments prescribed by the doctors, I gave her this to try – and it worked wonders! Not only did it soothe the irritation immediately, but it was the only product which actually cleared the problem – so it’s definitely one for problem skin sufferers! It is also an incredibly versatile product as not only is it a great moisturiser, but it also makes for an effective cleanser and hair treatment too! I certainly wouldn’t want to be without this product and it will be staying in my skincare routine for the long-haul!

Just Charcoal Soap

Charcoal Soap

If you’d have told me at the start of this year that my favourite body cleansing product would be a bar of Charcoal soap, I certainly wouldn’t have believed you! But here I am, on my third bar, ready to repurchase some more.  The activated charcoal promises to rid toxins and dirt from the skin while the jojoba, olive and coconut oils rejuvenate and hydrate (as well as providing antioxidants for the skin!). The addition of Shea butter to the soap promotes tissue regeneration and gives it a lovely moisturising boost. Surprisingly, for a handmade soap, you do get a creamy lather which leaves your skin literally squeaky clean, feeling nourished and not dry or tight at all. I even use it when my eczema flares up and have experienced no further irritation. I’ve you’ve been thinking of trying charcoal soap, then this is definitely the product to try!

Just Charcoal Cleansing Bar – £4.00 for 90g

Organic Argan Oil and Shea Whipped Butter & Organic Hemp and Shea Whipped Butter

As a fan of the Organic Jojoba and Shea Whipped body butter, I couldn’t wait to try both the Argan and Hemp versions. Now both butters have the same creamy texture of the Jojoba version and can be used in exactly the same way (moisturiser, hair treatment and make-up remover). Argan oil is full of antioxidants and vitamins which leaves skin feeling soft, hydrated and incredibly nourished, and due to it’s repairing properties, skin looks noticeably smoother and free from any dry patches. In a similar way, Hemp seed oil is also great for dry skin and especially good for damaged and irritated skin. I personally love the Argan and Shea butter on my face, as it really leaves skin soft and glowing (and is even good under make-up).  I also love the Hemp and Shea butter on my feet as it leaves them soft and supple and free from any cracks.

Natural Cleansing Oil

As you all probably know by now, I love a good cleansing oil and Guiltless Skin’s Natural Cleansing Oil certainly delivers! This mild oil cleanser, containing Jojoba, safflower and grapeseed oils, is perfect for even the most sensitive skin. Used on either wet or dry skin, this oil cleanses the skin while removing any traces of make-up. The scent is extremely subtle, which is perfect for anyone who prefers a fragrance free product, and skin is left feeling extremely moisturised, clean and supple – with no tightness at all! The effects last long after applying other products and amazing for dry skin sufferers like myself – but is also perfect for other skin types too. Quite simply, this is one of the few oil cleansers I use even when I haven’t got any make-up on as it keeps my skin looking, and feeling, great!

Natural Cleansing Oil £12.00 for 30ml

So that’s it, my current favourite from the Guiltless Skin range. The ethics and passion of the brand, as well as the quality of the products, marry together perfectly to create something very special indeed.
