I’m half way through my Holland and Barrett 12 days of Christmas advent calendar and I have to say that i’ve been impressed with everything i’ve received so far! Door number 6 held something a little different from a brand i’ve yet to try…
The Facetox organic facemasks are suitable for all skin types and are all cruelty free, vegan friendly and contain no parabens. The 2-step program consists of one sachet of Bentonite & Moroccan Lava clay, which is in powder form, and another sachet of organic rosewater. Simply blend the two together to create a face mask which promises to detoxify the skin, extract impurities and leave skin feeling softer.
I’ve mixed my own clay face masks in the past however the thing I like about the Facetox one is that there is no weighing and gauging liquid to powder ratios as it’s all done for you. Now rosewater isn’t my favourite scent, and this is quite pungent as you use a lot of it, however once the mask was on my face, I didn’t really notice it too much. You have to leave this on 30 minutes, which is quite a long time for a clay mask, and as you can imagine, I was concerned about my dry skin! I shouldn’t have worried though, as after half and hour, my skin felt so soft and looked really clean and fresh. My dry skin wasn’t affected and overall it was a nice experience. The only downside was that the thick mask was a little messy to remove but that’s a small price to pay for how good my skin felt after use!
Have you tried any Facetox masks? Let me know in the comments below!
Remeber to check back on Thursday for day seven of my 12 days of christmas advent reveal! If you’ve missed any days then you can check them out here.
Take care,

Another I’m looking forward to trying!

I love the way it’s so easy to use as everything is measured exactly – it also holds well on the skin when it’s on so no risk of face-mask slippage!!
