I couldn’t wait to receive my Latest in Beauty box this month as there were some amazing products that I couldn’t wait to try!
Latest in Beauty have made it so easy to find natural alternatives with their ‘natural’ sub-category, which means that you can find products quickly and easily based upon your skincare and make-up preferences. My box arrived promptly, as always, and the products certainly exceeded my expectations…
Burt’s Bees Natural Lipstick – 501 Blush Basin
I have the lovely Sandra over at Beauty Balm to thank for this recommendation as she assured me that these lipsticks were fantastic quality – and she was absolutely right! The moisturising formula keeps lips hydrated thanks for the Moringa oil, Raspberry Seed Oil and Vitamin E, and the colour pay-off is amazing. It lasts for a good few hours, and the Blush Basin shade, with a satin finish, is incredibly flattering and would suit most skin tones. What I love most is the packaging, which is fully recyclable and looks stylish with it’s matte texture and cut-outs (and due to the plastic casing, it’s lightweight so perfect to pop into your handbag!). This is a great product and so affordable that I’ll definitely be purchasing some other shades!
MOA Fortifying Bath Potion
I love MOA, as their Green Balm is one of my essential beauty items, and was so excited to try their Fortifying Bath Potion. It is such a lovely product for a bath time treat, especially if you’re feeling a little under the weather. Containing peppermint, fennel, organic yarrow, fir needle and birch, it promises to relax, calm, decongest, and relieve aching muscles. The vapours that radiate from the water instantly clears the mind as you feel the bath potion warming the body as you soak – all while leaving skin feeling soft and soothed. I have to say that I will always have this in the house in case of colds, aches, pains and headaches, as it really is the perfect tonic for mind and soul.
Natralus Australia – Intensive Skin Therapy
I’m always on the look out for a good body moisturiser, and as i’m a big fan of Australian skincare, this sounded like the perfect product. The formula contains organic Paw Paw, Alow Vera, Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Chamomile for an intensely rich cream to soothe and hydrate even the driest of skin types. The scent is lovely and fresh, without being too strong, and the texture is surprisingly lightweight and absorbs beautifully into the skin. After using this for 2 weeks, my skin feel soft and nourished and I’ve experienced no irritation at all. I will certainly be looking at more products from the brand as I’ve been really impressed by it’s overall performance, even in the short space of time i’ve been trying it out.
