Apothaka’s SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil is an essential part of my beauty routine as it is by far the best nail care product i’ve used thanks to its easy application and amazing results.

When planning my Natural Skincare Christmas Gift Guidethis year, I knew Apothaka’s SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil had to feature and luckily, Apothaka have made gift giving so easy this year with the SOS Recovery Duo that will ensure that hands are protected from the Winter weather.

The SOS Recovery gift set contains a full-sized version of their bestselling Nail & Cuticle Oil and Hand Cream, all beautifully packaged in a branded cotton drawstring bag, or if you’d prefer, a black cardboard gift box. As with the whole Apothaka range, the products are all vegan friendly, cruelty free and contain a wealth of beautiful ingredients without any scaremongering.

SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil

The award-winning SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil is a nourishing blend of oils including jojoba, grapeseed, macadamia, olive squalane, borage and natural vitamin E, alongside lemon, lavender and myrrh essential oils, to create a intensely moisturising formulation that is non-greasy and beautifully scented.

Application is incredibly easy thanks to the rollerball packaging which also minimises product wastage. The beautiful oil ensures that cuticles are moisturised and the nail is deeply nourished to promote stronger, healthier nails that will aid growth, reduce breakages and aid peeling nails when used on a long term basis. I’ve been using this throughout 2019 and have been overwhelmed by the incredible results i’ve experienced. This is certainly a product that i’ll be taking with me into next year as it really is a staple product within my beauty routine. To find out more about my experience, check out my full review here.

SOS Recovery Hand Cream

I am always on the lookout for a hand cream that defies my hatred of the tacky, sticky and heavily scented creams i’ve used in the past. Thankfully, Apothaka’s SOS Recovery Hand Cream is a far cry from my past experiences and surprisingly, has actually made me enjoy hand cream application. The hand cream has a rich, silky-smooth texture and contains a wealth of skin loving ingredients such as shea butter, rice bran oil, comfrey, sunflower seed oil and sweet almond oil, with the addition of Provitamin B5, to soothe, repair, nourish dry hands.

The aroma creates a truly luxurious experience, with a woody and warm essential oil blend that has a slightly sweet undertone which is treat for the senses as well as the skin. What I love most about the SOS Recovery Hand Cream is the highly concentrated formulation that means a little goes a very long way, and ultimately makes it incredibly good value for money. I’ve been using this for a few months now and have been loving the results. My hands feel less dry and irritated and even after returning home from an early morning dog-walk, my hands aren’t chapped and still feel soft, smooth and hydrated. If you’re looking for an intensive hand cream that absorbs quickly without any sticky residue then I cannot recommend Apothaka’s SOS Recovery Hand Cream enough.
