|Gifted| I’m sure i’m not the only one who loves finding affordable skincare but when it comes to high quality products with a small price tag, it can often be difficult to find those that really deliver on their promises. Thankfully, i’ve found a brand that takes quality very seriously and has an amazingly affordable range that really delivers amazing results everytime…
Kathy Sue Ann’s is a natural and organic skincare brand who are dedicated to helping women feel comfortable within their own skin, utilising the very best mother nature has to offer in order for us to get the beautiful skin we all deserve. The range is incredibly affordable, making it accessible to all yet still boasts incredible ingredients and skincare essentials that really makes them a brand to watch.
I couldn’t wait to use this innovative Nourishing Eye Stick, a product that is formulated to help with the most common issues around the eye area. The Nourishing Eye stick has a minimal ingredient list, containing only 8 nutrient-rich oils, butters and waxes including:
- Organic virgin coconut oil,
- Organic jojoba oil,
- Organic shea butter,
- Vitamin E,
- lavender oil,
- carrot seed oil
- Frankincense oil.
These ingredients give the Nourishing Eye Stick a lovely warm, lavender aroma which has a slightly earthiness to it thanks to the perfectly balanced essential oils that still allow the natural aromas of the oils to shine through. The eye stick has the most unique texture i’ve ever experienced in an eye product, with a silky smooth balm that glides on to the skin with ease, leaving behind a delicate sheen that feels weightless and in no way heavy on the skin.
The application process is one of the factors that really made this a stand out product for me as not only did it eradicate any product wastage, as the stick gave just the right amount of balm per use, but it also gave it a dual purpose. The stick allowed for a mini eye-massage with each application, helping to boost circulation and promote lymphatic drainage to reduce puffy eyes. The plastic applicator is fully recyclable and can be reused if you make your own lip balms, is travel-friendly and also reduces the chance of any bacteria spreading around the eye area.
The Nourishing Eye Stick is hydrating, moisturising and soothing, helping to protect the delicate skin around the eyes that can damage very easily. The balm acts as a barrier to help lock in moisture, prevent the most common signs of aging and reduce the risk of environmental damage.
Now I have been using this in my routine for well over 6 weeks now and have been really enjoying the experience. As it’s a balm formulation, I began integrating it into my bedtime routine to see how it absorbed as a slightly richer formula as I feared it would be a little heavy on the skin (something which I didn’t need to fear!). I was incredibly impressed by both the longevity and effects on my under eyes, as not only did this instantly smooth my dry under eye area but also kept my skin feeling soft, smooth and deeply hydrated without feeling too heavy. I soon integrated it into my daytime routine too and it kept my under eyes looking fresh and intensely moisturised throughout the day, with a comfortable feel that even worked well under a light concealer as you can really pat the balm into your skin and smooth the eye area before make-up application. The best news for those that struggle with eye products is that it doesn’t make your eyes water or sting due to the lack of product movement compared to conventional eye creams.
It is safe to say that I have experienced great results on my dry skin as it has kept my under eyes flake free, even during the cooler weather and spending more time indoors with the central heating. A little product goes a long way, making it even better value for money than I first anticipated, and there is absolutely no product wastage at all . This is one of my favourite eye product discoveries of the year so far and one that I would happily recommend.
