If you’ve followed me for the past year you’ll have noticed my love of NK Naturals seasonal skincare, a brand which celebrates a new set of ingredients with each new season in line with the lunar calendar, aiding those skin concerns that trouble us at certain times throughout the year.

It is safe to say that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new Winter products and the mini collection is a great way to try the whole range in generous sizes for a great price (just £55 for everything you see here!). As usual, the items came beautifully packaged, included full instructions via a rolled scroll and were housed in a gorgeous white, zipped cosmetic pouch with NK Naturals branding to the front.

The Winter collection is visually my favourite so far, with an array of of green hues that look so pretty in their glass jars. They all have a beautiful sweet and slightly herbal aroma that I wasn’t anticipating, but has actually become my favourite of all the seasonal scents so far. The hero ingredients in this collection are inspired by the changing temperatures, central heating and harsh Wintery weather that can irritate and disrupt our skin. You’ll find botanicals such as Blue Tansy, Violet Leaf Absolute, Rosemary, Yarrow and Patchouli in the collection to soothe, protect and repair even the most irritated skin.

NK Naturals: Winter Concentrated Cleansing Balm

I am a huge cleansing balm fan and NK Naturals always deliver amazing balms that have a dreamy texture and even better performance. The Winter Concentrated Cleansing Balm has the signature texture of the other 3 seasonal cleansing balms, with a dense balm that melts onto the skin with ease, eradicating all traces of make-up and SPF in its wake.

It contains some beautiful ingredients that leave the skin feeling nourished after use including:

  • Coconut Oil,
  • Jojoba Oil,
  • Cacay Oil,
  • Raw Organic Beeswax (which retains the benefits of pollen and propolis),
  • Yarrow,
  • Blue Tansy,
  • Violet Leaf Absolute,
  • Patchouli.

What I love is how a small amount of balm goes a very long way, making it great value for money. It leaves my skin feeling soft after use and helps to calm any irritations and redness on my skin after just a few uses. This makes for a great cleansing balm if you are love a silky, rich texture that nourished the skin as it cleanses, offering a truly pampering experience at the end of each day.

NK Naturals: Winter Concentrated Cleansing Balm -£25.00/60ml when sold separately.

NK Naturals: Winter Enriched Protection Daily Moisturiser

NK Naturals Daily Moisturisers are among my favourite face creams with added SPF protection as they don’t dry my face out or leave a white cast on my skin. The Winter version is certainly no exception, with a silky, smooth texture that leaves skin feeling nourished without any greasy residue or cast left on the skin.

What I particularly love about the Winter version is that it is incredibly soothing on my skin too, as the skin loving ingredients help to calm any irritations caused by the central heating and cooler weather conditions while also offering daily protection:

  • Coconut Oil,
  • Jojoba Oil,
  • Cacay Oil,
  • Organic Raw Beeswax (which retains the benefits of pollen and propolis),
  • Titanium Dioxide,
  • Oat Kernal Flour,
  • Yarrow,
  • Blue Tansy,
  • Patchouli,
  • Violet Leaf Absolute.

The moisturiser has the same signature Winter scent of the cleansing balm, with a slight sweetness that makes a change from the previous seasonal collections. I have to say that this has been yet another great experience and offers a texture of SPF unlike any other brand i’ve used.

NK Naturals: Winter Enriched Protection Daily Moisturiser – £30/60ml (when sold seperately)

NK Naturals: Winter Copper Distilled Botanical Mist

Facial mists are one of my favourite elements within my skincare routine, not only refreshing and reviving my face but also aiding my products to absorb easily and help to hydrate my dry and dehydrated skin.

I am a particular fan of NK Naturals Copper Distilled Botanical Mists as they go beyond a simple hydrosol or botanical water as they actually feature a wild variety of plant extracts, all distilled using the traditional copper-distilled method:

  • Fresh Lemon Balm Hydrosol,
  • Frankincense Hydrosol,
  • Yarrow,
  • Rosemary,
  • Violet Leaf Absolute,
  • Patchouli,
  • Vegetable Glycerin,
  • Grapefruit Seed.

The mist has a lovely light aroma which is fresher and slightly more earthy than the rest of the Winter collection. It feels incredibly soothing on the skin, thanks to the wealth of anti-inflammatory ingredients that feature, and is great to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day when the central heating fires up. What I particularly enjoy about the Winter version of the Copper Distilled Botanical Mist is the way in which it has an impact upon my mood too, promoting a calming experience which is good for the soul as well as the skin.

NK Naturals: Winter Nutrient Rich Facial Oil

I am a big fan of facial oils and find NK Naturals’ Nutrient Rich Facial Oils a great example of how effective they can be – and how little you really need to use. The rollerball applicator that comes with each seasonal facial oil not only eradicates product wastage by dispensing just the right amount but also promotes lympathic drainage through the use of facial massage.

The Winter facial oil is possibly one of the prettiest colours i’ve seen in a skincare product yet it is certainly not style over substance, with a wealth of skin loving ingredients to really target those seasonal stresses:

  • Coconut Oil,
  • Jojoba Oil,
  • Cacay Oil,
  • Yarrow,
  • Blue Tansy,
  • Violet Leaf Absolute,
  • Patchouli.

The ingredients match the cleansing balm perfectly, with only the beeswax eradicated from the formulation. The oil boasts the same anti-inflammatory, nourishing properties of the cleansing balm in a lightweight oil that absorbs beautifully into the skin for a glowing and calmer complexion.

NK Naturals: Winter Nutrient Rich Facial Oil – £15.00/15ml

NK Naturals: Winter Deep Steam Salt Infusion

Last but by no means least is the beautiful Winter Deep Steam Salt Infusion that is not only great for the skin but also for the mind and body too. The salt infusion is formulated with halotherapy in mind, which is not only a great self-care ritual for our skin but also highly effective in treating sinus and respiratory issues, as well as being useful in mediation and deep breathing exercises too.

I have tried each seasonal Deep Steam Salt Infusion and have really felt the benefits of each one, yet I must say that the Winter infusion has been particularly useful for my breathing and headaches as I suffer from a stuffy nose from the heating as well as asthma which can be difficult to control during the Winter months. Where my skin is concerned, this really upgrades my weekly self-care routine for the better, not only promoting a pampering experience (especially in conjunction with other Winter products) but also contains stunning ingredients that are reviving, soothing and beneficial for Winter related skin issues:

  • Air-Dried Butterfly Pea,
  • Pine,
  • Yarrow,
  • Sea Salts.

The aroma is incredible, with the dried botanicals releasing an intense yet purely natural aroma that is exactly as nature intended. It has a very herbal, earthy aroma with a subtle floral scent lingering in the background that really leaves your skin and your mind feeling relaxed and truly pampered.

NK Naturals: Winter Deep Steam Salt Infusion – £15.00/120ml (When Sold Separately).

It is safe to say that NK Naturals have delighted again with another beautiful, seasonal set that has really helped my skin throughout the cooler weather. Each seasonal collection has it’s own benefits and properties that have helped my skin look and feel at it’s best throughout the year yet I feel Winter has possibly been my favourite so far, as it is the collection that has aided my skin concerns the most, as the central heating and harsher weather really plays havoc with my dry and dehydrated skin type. If you are looking for products with a difference, then I cannot recommend the beautiful NK Naturals brand enough as they never fail to deliver great results with each use.

NK Naturals: Mini Complete Winter Collection – £55.00 (Features 2x Full-Sized Products)
