|AD – PR Products| As a beauty enthusiast, discovering a new brand is always an exciting experience which i’m sure many of you can relate to. From the ordering process to the packaging, the sensory experience and great results, there really is nothing quite like it. Luckily, my recent discovery has been one of pure joy so far, with incredible products that have delivered great results, showcasing that MSA Skincare is certainly a brand you need to follow…

MSA Skincare was born from a passion for aromatherapy and the multiple benefits essential oils have on the skin and senses alike. This is certainly realised in the brand’s product range which presents skincare for a variety of skin concerns, utilising essential oils in each blend to highlight just how important it is to the brand’s values. But where MSA Skincare excels is in their dedication to Women, boosting confidence by celebrating who we are, allowing us to feel comfortable in the skin we’re in. If you’re looking for images of perfect skin or flawless filters then MSA Skincare isn’t the brand for you as they vow to empower women of all ages suffering from a wealth of skin concerns with absolutely no judgement. This empowerment is exactly why Suprina, the founder of MSA Skincare, decided to start her own brand back in 2019, feeling a lack of interest in her career and longing to follow her passion for aromatherapy.

When it comes to the MSA Skincare experience, the ethos and range of products are not the only positive element, as the way in which the brand connects to their customers and followers is an essential part too. Their website is clear and concise, allowing you to explore the range with ease and the MSA Journal section of their site has useful information surrounding various subjects on skin, health and wellbeing. On the brand’s social channels, you really get a feel for who MSA Skincare are thanks to discussions from the founder, product spotlights and useful information on how to get the best out of your routine. What I love most about the brand’s website and social channels in particular is the transparency, as I am aware that the products are natural, cruelty-free, vegan friendly and contain organic, sustainable ingredients without having to actively search for that information that is so often hidden out of sight.

First Impressions

I may have only been using the products themselves for a few weeks but I have to say that first impressions are great so far. On each use, I feel that i’ve been seeing great results and that each product appears to be delivering on its promises on nourished, replenished skin. Here are my intital thoughts on each of the products i’ve tried…

MSA Skincare: Apricot & Banana Face Mask – £16.00

This is one of the few products that doesn’t contain any essential oils yet the carefully selected blend of ingredients certainly gives this mask a wealth of benefits for the skin.

This finely milled powder activates with water to detoxify, balance, nourish and cleanse the skin, with ingredients that make it suitable for all skin types:

  • French Pink Clay,
  • Rhassoul Clay,
  • Kaolin Clay,
  • Banana Fruit powder,
  • Apricot fruit powder,
  • Coconut milk powder,
  • Mango Fruit powder.

As someone with dry and dehydrated skin, I feel this mask really targeted my areas of concerns, helping to eradicate dry areas and leave my skin looking brighter in its appearance. I didn’t experience any dry patches after use thanks to the gentle blend of clays and skin loving ingredients.

If you’re curious about the scent, I can confirm that it does have a very subtle/slight banana aroma that I personally didn’t mind (and i’m someone who really hates bananas!). Thankfully my hatred of eating bananas certainly hasn’t altered my feelings towards this mask as it turns out that it is a fantastic addition to my skincare routine.

MSA Skincare: Replenish Serum – £28.00

What is a skincare routine without a serum or facial oil? In my opinion it doesn’t exist but if you currently don’t have one within your routine, or are looking for a new one to try, this one ticks a lot of boxes.

I love the fact that the Replenish Serum is designed for all skin types as it contains some beautiful ingredients to help with several skin concerns:

  • Jojoba Oil,
  • Macademia Nut Oil,
  • Baobab Oil,
  • Brazil Nut Oil,
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil,
  • Rosemary Essential Oil,
  • Vitamin E,
  • Tamanu Oil,
  • Orange Essential Oil,
  • Frankincense Essential Oil,
  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil.

The serum has a lightweight texture that absorbs into the skin with ease, leaving behind an Earthy aroma with hints of fresh and sweet notes that linger in the background.

I haven’t used this long enough to determine if it is having an long term effect but what I can say is that after each use, my skin feels soft and smooth to the touch and certainly looks nourished in its appearance. I love the fact that it is lightweight yet is still moisturising enough on my drier skin type.

MSA Skincare: Renew Cleansing Balm – £24.00

Last, but by no means least, is the gorgeous Renew Cleansing Balm that is currently my favourite product from everything i’ve tried so far. The cleansing balm has a unique texture that adopts an almost gel-like consistency as opposed to the balms were are more familiar with.

Again, the ingredients that have been selected make it great for all skin types and not only eradicates daily impurities, dirt, SPF and make-up but also help to detox, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin; all while helping to boost our self-care with a luxurious daily cleanse:

  • Jojoba Oil,
  • Macademia Nut Oil,
  • Baobab Oil,
  • Brazil Nut Oil,
  • Açaí palm,
  • Baobab Oil,
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil,
  • Rosemary Essential Oil,
  • Vitamin E,
  • Tamanu Oil,
  • Orange Essential Oil,
  • Frankincense Essential Oil,
  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil.

I love how the cleansing balm moves on the skin, spreading with ease and treating the senses to a fresh aroma that makes it perfect for both your AM and PM routine.

It feels incredibly refreshing on the skin as you begin to apply yet leaves it feeling clean and deeply nourished after use. This has been my go-to in the evenings as it feels like a decadent treat for your skin before applying those slightly more intensive products overnight. I will continue putting this through its paces but I have to say that I already recommend trying this out if you haven’t already.

It is safe to say that I am enjoying these products so far and the MSA Skincare experience has really made me fall in love with the brand. Make sure you’re following me across social channels to stay up-to date with my future MSA Skincare posts and if you’d like to find out more about the band and their beautiful collection, you can find their website here.
