|AD – Award Entry| When it comes to high end beauty, many luxury brands boast a style-over-substance approach when it comes to skincare, with expensive products that rarely meet our high expectations. The Beauty of Caring is certainly an exception to the rule, with a product that contains some beautiful ingredients that gives incredible results with each use…
The Beauty of Caring are a small, family-run business with self-care and the environment at its heart, promoting the practice of taking care of ourselves, others and the planet to enhance our overall wellness. The brand harnesses the power of the natural world around us in order to showcase the benefits of natural ingredients, with a “circular caring” mission highlighting how we are all connected to the very environment we inhabit. The brand take their inspiration and ingredients from oceans, lakes and flora, with a focus upon sustainability within the beauty industry. By actively reducing their carbon footprint, opting for eco-friendly packaging, making products in small batches and using suppliers located close to their laboratory in Barcelona, the brand’s ethos that “sustainability is part of our DNA” is realised in each and every product from their highly effective range of natural skincare.
I have been lucky enough to try their Precious Oil Serum in my role as CertClean Clean Beauty Awards judge, and I have been blown away with just how special the brand and facial oil really is.
Precious Oil Serum is formulated with all skin types in mind yet deals with concerns associated with dry and dull skin types in particular. The texture is where The Beauty of Caring shines the most, with a lightweight oil that adopts a dry-oil feel that is highly absorbent yet leaves skin feeling silky to the touch and dewy in its appearance. The scent is light and fresh, so perfect for this time of year, and is a real treat for the skin and senses alike. The sensory experience is what makes The Beauty of Caring’s Precious Oil Serum stand out in a crowd, with every aspect of product from the packaging to the look and feel of the oil on your skin, leaving you wanting to use it time and time again.
Key ingredients such as algae, kahai oil, jojoba, squalane, cotton seed oil, linseed, tomato fruit extract and bidens pilosa extracts (to name a few) are what gives the Precious Oil Serum it’s wealth of benefits to target concerns associated with modern day living:
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles,
- Brighten dark circles,
- Provide long-lasting hydration,
- Instantly illuminate the complexion,
- Restore radiance,
- Even out the skin tone,
- Correct age spots,
- Reduce the appearance of redness,
- Improve eczema and psoriasis,
- Regulate sebum production,
- Boost elasticity,
- Improve the firmness and smoothness of the skin.
I can certainly vouch for the instant effects the Precious Oil Serum has on the skin as I experienced improved hydration levels, a brighter appearance and dewiness to the skin on first use, and after several days, noticed the redness on my cheek and around my nose starting to reduce with each passing day. A small eczema patch felt nourished and healed well, and the overall texture of my skin improved over the course of several weeks of use.
As someone with a dry skin type which is prone to areas of dullness, I have to say that this exceeded all my expectations as the oil delivered on all of its promises. I loved how a little oil went a long way and seemed to improve the overall look and feel of my skin with each use. I don’t use luxury brands very often as I feel the high price tag isn’t always justified yet The Beauty of Caring have proved me wrong and delivered a high-end facial oil that certainly left a lasting impression and is the gift that keeps on giving.
