Latest in Beauty: December Picks

Hello and A Happy New Year to you all! I’ve taken a little blogging break over the festive period so I didn’t get chance to post this through December, but I definitely wanted to share these amazing products with you from my Latest in Beauty box last month…

Nourish Argan Anti-Ageing Peptide Serum

Nourish is a brand that’s been on my wish list for a while, and this was the perfect opportunity to try one of their products. Nourish use all organic and biodegradable ingredients and are vegan friendly, cruelty free and accredited by the soil association. Their anti-aging peptide serum contains tripeptides, hyaluronic acid, Argan and kale to deliver intense hydration and skin rejuvenation as well as powerful antioxidants to protect skin from environmental damage. The texture is incredibly lightweight and only leaves a very subtle tackiness to the skin unlike other serums. It has a lovely fresh scent, which doesn’t linger on the skin, and it actually gives an instant moisture boost that lasts throughout the day. I’ve been using this for 3 weeks and my skin feels soft, supple and a little product goes along way. If all of Nourish’s natural skincare range is as good as this serum, I can’t wait to try more!

Monu Skin Hydrating Mask

There is nothing I love more than a hydrating face mask so I couldn’t wait to try this particular one from Monu Skin, a professional skincare brand who pride themselves on creating unique, gentle and clean natural beauty products. The hydrating mask, formulated with Royal Jelly, Evening Primrose oil and other skin loving ingredients, not only deliver hydration, but also balance and assist in the healing of broken skin. The cream formula is easy to apply and holds well on the skin when applied. It has quite a luxurious scent for a natural product, which makes for a lovely pamper session, but it isn’t too strong. It left my skin looking brighter and fresher, and feeling very smooth – it even helped my usual skincare products absorb better after use. I’ve only used this three times so far, but have really enjoyed the results. I’ll definitely be trying this out as an overnight mask too, as well as a treat for hands and feet!

The Organic Pharmacy Lip and Eye Cream

The Organic Pharmacy are a brand with homeopathy at it’s heart, making products in their own factory, with organic ingredients, to ensure quality and traceability. I love the concept of their Lip and Eye cream, as you all know how much I love a versatile product. As a sufferer of dry eyelids, this sounded like the perfect product for me. Designed to hydrate, as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles, this is the perfect skin saviour during the winter months. The cream itself is quite lightweight but does take a while to absorb, which I actually like with both eye and lip products. It has a subtle scent, despite it’s lovely ingredient list including Neroli, Frankincense and Aloe, to name a few.  I loved how the skin around my eyes felt after use, as they did feel softer and soothed, but I didn’t personally feel it worked as well on my lips. Despite this, it would still be a great product for your handbag!
