PHB Ethical Beauty – Pink Grapefruit Sugar Scrub

It is no surprise that PHB Ethical Beauty have featured in yet another blog post this month, as their products are such great value for money, amazing quality and their brand ethos is something to be admired.

I’m always on the look out for a great body scrub, especially during the winter when the cold weather and central heating takes its toll on the skin. I was excited to try PHB Ethical Beauty’s handmade body scrub bar as I’ve never tried one before and it certainly promised to make my skin feel great.

This sugar bar is handmade with pure sugar cane, cocoa butter and plant oils to nourish and moisturise the skin while removing dead skin cells. The coarse texture of the sugar not only provides intense exfoliation but also boosts circulation, while organic cocoa and plant oils moisturiser and soften even the driest of skin types.

I love how easy the scrub is to use, as you simply run it over wet skin, particularly focusing on parts of the body such as the elbows which have a tendency to be a lot drier. The addition of zesty pink grapefruit brings a fresh and exercising scent for both the body and mind. Just be aware that the scrub does have a tendency to crumble if it’s in water for too long, so always keep that in mind when enjoying your pamper session!

PHB Ethical Beauty have delivered yet again and I can’t wait to try more body scrubs from the range (I’m looking at you peppermint body scrub!). I’m sure this won’t be the last time you’ll see a PHB post on Beauty Folio as with such an extensive array of products on offer, it would be rude not to try more!

What are your favourite PHB products?

Take care,
