I am always on the look out for natural skincare products designed for dry skin, especially those that have been lovingly created by someone who has a real passion for skincare and natural ingredients.
I recently discovered Ezàpè Naturals, a natural and ethical brand based right here in the UK, and decided to purchase a sample set of their Rosemary Body Butter and Chamomile Balm to see if the products were really as good as they sounded. The products arrived with a lovely handwritten message from Vanessa, the brand’s founder, and for a sample set, were packaged beautifully.
Rosemary Body Butter
It is lovely to try a body butter which has a fresh scent without being fruity – especially as the rosemary oil is strong but by no means overpowering, and really relaxes the senses. The rich formula, featuring skin loving ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, sunflower oil and vitamin e, leaves skin feeling soft and highly moisturised and looking healthier and really nourished. A small amount really does go a long way and I noticed a difference in the appearance of my dry skin after one use, and the smoothness of my skin definitely improved within a few days. If you’re looking for a body butter that is effective and really hydrates the skin without feeling greasy, then this is certainly the one for you.
Rosemary Body Butter: £6.50/25g – £27.00/150g (samples also available).
If you suffer from dry and sensitive skin, you’ll know that there’s nothing better than a soothing balm on irritated, flaky skin – and this one is certainly no exception. Made with shea butter, aloe butter, calendula and Roman chamomile (among others), this chamomile balm is perfect for calming and soothing the skin and has anti-inflammatory properties to reduce irritation and redness. Any stubborn dry areas, such as my elbows, were intensely moisturised and my dry patches of eczema were also a lot softer after applying a thin layer of balm. I also love to use this on my cuticles at night, as it really hydrates and repairs the skin while I sleep, leaving my fingers in tip-top condition in the morning. This is a gorgeously scented pot of relief for any dry skin sufferer, and the sample size will certainly be living in my handbag for the foreseeable future for those on-the-go moisturising moments!
Chamomile Balm: £8.00/20g – £22.00/60g (samples also available).
I’ve been really impressed by both the quality and performance of these natural skincare products and love the hard work and dedication behind Ezàpè Naturals. I love the way you can purchase sample sizes, as well as larger jars, and it’s nice to see a packaging change since my last purchase (body butter samples now come in tins rather than a plastic pot). This is a brand with real heart and soul at its core and I will certainly be re-ordering in the not-so-distant future.
