Naissance – Chia Seed Certified Organic Oil

If there is one thing I enjoy most when it comes to skincare, it has to be multi-functional oils, which is probably the reason why I love oils so much as they are incredibly useful within your beauty routine.

I recently discovered Naissance, a brand which believes in #discoveringbetter, providing some of the most ethical and sustainable products which are recognised as organic by The Soil Association, are cruelty free and vegan friendly. They are incredibly useful if you create your own DIY beauty products thanks to their handy numbering system, extensive range of natural products and helpful information on their website.

I opted to try out their Chia Seed Certified Organic Oil, purchased from The Cruelty Free Beauty Box, as I have heard about the benefits and uses of this nourishing oil. Chia Seed oil is rich in Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids, Vitamin B, Amino Acids and is a natural source of zinc to reduce acne breakouts, nourish the skin and promote a healthier complexion. It is also very high in antioxidants to provide protection from environmental factors and prevent the harmful effects from free radicals on the skin – so it really is powerhouse of a product.

The oil itself is described as medium rich, and despite being quite thick in texture is certainly not heavy or greasy in any way. The amber liquid instantly softens the skin on application and has a very subtle nutty scent which dissipates very quickly. The uses for this little bottle of joy is endless, as not only does it make the perfect face oil for intense moisturisation but it is also great as an overnight facial treatment, a leave-in hair conditioner, a hair styling product to banish the frizz and as a nail oil to promote stronger nails and softer skin. It can also be used to supercharge your moisturisers and serums, as well as giving face masks a nourishing oil base. A few drops certainly goes a long way, and as far as 100% pure cold pressed oils go, this is certainly one of the most versatile and beneficial i’ve used.

If you’re looking for simplistic products to create your own DIY beauty goodies, or you love to use pure ingredients in your beauty routine, then look no further than Naissance. The knowledge and passion behind the brand is certainly realised within their products, and with such a wealth of information on their website, you’ll never be second guessing which product is right for you. Chia Seed Oil is now one of my essential items that I couldn’t live without as it really is a great all-rounder and suitable for all skin types. The multi-use element certainly makes this a winner in my eyes and I can’t wait to try out more products from the Naissance brand.
