After hearing the theme of this month’s Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box, I couldn’t wait for its arrival as I was certainly in need of the pampering treats the ‘Pure Bliss’ box had to offer.

This months box was a true delight, with 5 perfectly selected items that captured the essence of pure bliss. Each brand was new to me, and I certainly couldn’t wait to try each one as they were all packaged so beautifully and promised to make my skin look and feel at it’s best.
Farryn Amber: Rose Facial Mask

Nothing says ‘pure bliss’ quite like a face mask and i’m always excited to try a new brand. Farryn Amber’s Rose Facial Mask is a blend of activated charcoal, green tea extract, wild kelp, rose petals and bentonite clay to gently detox, cleanse and hydrate the skin. The powder itself only had a slight scent of rose when on the skin and thanks to the ultra-fine texture, it mixed to a paste with ease and sat on the skin well. Now as a dry skin sufferer, I tend to avoid bentonite clay as I often find it suited to more oily skin types but surprisingly, thanks to the other skin loving ingredients, my skin felt gloriously soft, fresh and pampered – without any dryness at all! I can’t wait to explore more Farryn Amber products in the future as my experience so far with the Rose Facial Mask has been impressive. I’m excited to put this mask to the test further with different ingredient combinations and multi-masking options as even though first impressions have been great, I think this mask has much more to offer.

Cocorosa Beauty: Egyptian Neroli Cleansing Oil

There’s nothing better than finding a great cleansing oil and I have to say that Cocorosa Beauty’s Egyptian Neroli Cleansing Oil has been a dream to use. The neroli scent is relatively subtle but still gives that deliciously uplifting aroma that is characteristic from the essential oil. The oil itself is silky and non-greasy, simply melting into the skin in order to give a deep cleanse that doesn’t emulsify. A warm cloth instantly removes dirt, impurities and all traces of make-up in an instant leaving behind a fresh complexion with skin that feels supple and smooth. This cleansing oil is incredibly effective and works in harmony with the Superfruit 3-in-1 Cleansing Powder which also featured in this month’s box.
Cocorosa Beauty: Superfruit 3-in-1 Cleansing Powder

There’s nothing I love more than a multipurpose product so I was very excited to try out Cocorosa Beauty’s Superfruit 3-in-1 Cleansing Powder. The pretty pink powder is a dream to use, formulated to be used a face wash, exfoliator and a face mask, you’ll never get bored of this skincare wonder that is the gift that keeps on giving. I have used this as both a face wash and exfoliator and as far as first impressions go, the cleansing powder left my skin feeling clean, fresh and soft on various occasions. The powder mixes well with water as a face wash, forming a gentle lather which doesn’t dry the skin out and simply leaves it feeling refreshed after use. As an exfoliator, mixed with a few drops of Cocorosa Beauty’s Egyptian Neroli Cleasning oil, certainly evokes a texture I haven’t encountered before yet left my skin feeling silky smooth and beautifully soft. I can’t wait to use the remaining product as a face mask to test this cleansing powder further to see what else it has to offer.

Both Cocorosa products have impressed me with their performance and I love how the two products worked in harmony together when combined. These minature cleasning products from their range came with a duel-sided double cleanse cloth, an addition which is also a purchase option with each full-sized Cocorosa Beauty cleansing product. I have to say that the innovative cleansing powder brought fun back into my skincare routine, so much so that I can’t wait to discover more from the brand as they are certainly one to watch.

Micheline Archier: Harmonie Bath Oil

I’ve been enjoying bath oils more and more recently so the addition of Harmonie in this month’s box was one which I was glad to see. The Harmonie bath oil has an aroma which is warm, soothing and luxurious with notes of ylang ylang, petitgrain and camomile; a scent which instantly makes you feel relaxed and pampered. A little oil goes a long way, with just a few drops of the non-greasy oil filling the bathroom with the stunning fragrance. My skin felt soft and smooth after bathing and I didn’t feel the need to moisturise immediately afterwards (which is something that doesn’t happen very often!). The bath oil is a pleasure to use and gives a pampering experience for the body and mind. If you love relaxing in the bath, and your skin is in need of some tlc, then Harmonie Bath Oil might just be the bathtime treat for you.

Belenos Skin Botanique: Repair Serum

I was so excited to see this brand among the goodies in this month’s box as even though i’d heard great things, I was yet to try out any products. I have to say that I am always on the look out for great quality oil-based serums, especially at this time of year when my skin is still a little out of sorts after the cold winter weather. Belenos Repair Serum boasts an array of skin loving ingredients from oils such avocado, carrot, wheat germ and borage to the uplifting aromas of frankincense, neroli and rose otto. The serum has a strong intense colour that instantly brightens up my vanity, and the texture of the oil is rich yet feels weightless on the skin. It absorbs beautifully, leaving my skin feeling incredibly soft to the touch and nourished; an effect which lasted throughout the day. The scent is heavenly, as the neroli is intense yet not overpowering to give a luxurious and thoroughly pampering experience on application. As I have dry skin, I did pair the serum with my usual moisturiser which worked wonders but I would say that less dry skin types could also use this alone thanks to its nourishing qualities. Keep your eyes peeled for a full review coming soon, as I will certainly be repurchasing when this bottle runs out as it is a true skincare delight.

Belenos Skin Botanique: Repair Serum – £9.00

Each product has been a joy to use and fitted the theme perfectly. I feel like this month’s box has offered me the chance to spa at home, enjoy some self-care and certainly recharge after a hectic few weeks. I cannot wait to explore each brand further as they have truly left me with a wish list full of goodies that I will be purchasing in the not-so-distant future.
