During the Winter, I’m always on the search for great quality oil-based serums to help alleviate my dry skin. Magical Tree’s Soft Cheeks is a firm favourite, so I thought I’d try another from their skincare range which is all natural, cruelty-free and vegan friendly.

Glowing Glory is designed for dry and/or dehydrated skin types in mind but thanks to the lightweight formula and skin loving ingredients, it would work equally well on all skin types. This hydrating facial serum contains some of my favourite oils including Apricot Kernel, Jojoba and Pomegranate, as well as the addition of Vitamin E, to help moisturise, repair and fight free radicals.

Glowing Glory Red Flowers

The scent is intense yet not overpowering, with frankincense, lavender and geranium essential oils bringing a luxuriously floral scent which gives a spa-like quality that is a true pampering experience for both the skin and the senses alike. The serum itself is lightweight, non-greasy and absorbs almost instantly into the skin, leaving behind a subtle sheen and healthy glow.

I’ve been using this for several weeks and have been impressed by the results. My skin was certainly more hydrated and felt softer and smoother to the touch. My dryness was improved, although not eradicated, but the serum worked well in conjunction with my other skincare products. I really enjoyed the texture and feel on my skin, as the way it absorbs was surprising yet certainly welcomed.

Both Serums with Yellow Flowers

In comparison to Soft Cheeks, I would say that they both performed well but Soft Cheeks probably still has the edge for me when it comes to Winter Skin, as the calming effect certainly soothes my rebellious skin. I feel that even though Glowing Glory made my skin feel nice, I think it would be more beneficial for my skin during the Summer months when my skin isn’t quite so irritated and I could expereince the true beauty of Glowing Glory.
