One of the best ways to banish winter skin is finding a good quality body scrub, and thanks to The Natural Beauty Box, I discovered an amazing one from Horseshoe Bay.
Horseshoe Bay is a brand dedicated to positive, happy and healthy wellbeing, creating Pink Himalayan Salt Scrubs and Smudging Wands which are clean, effective and have a low impact upon the environment. All the product range is cruelty-free and vegan friendly, but more importantly, a donation from each Pink Himaylan Salt Scrub sold goes to charity – so not only good for the skin but also for a great cause too.
Horseshoe Bay’s Pink Himalayan Salt Scrubs are a blend of Pink Himalayan salt, light coconut oil and essential oils housed in a metal tin which is fully recyclable and reusable. Epiphany couldn’t be more perfect for me, as citrus scents are my favourite when it comes to body-care products. The combination of Sweet Orange and Grapefruit is a refreshing and uplifting aroma which not only boosts your mood but also brings anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that will also help reduce breakouts and the appearance of cellulite. In addition to this, the benefits of Pink Himalayan Salt is exceptional, as it is naturally softening, cleansing, deodorising, balancing and healing, as well as aiding tired and aching muscles – so Horseshoe Bay scrubs really do go beyond a simple skincare exfoliator.
What I love most about Horseshoe Bay’s Epiphany Salt Scrub is the texture, as it is soft and light yet still gritty enough to be highly effective in removing dead skin from the body. A little scrub goes a long way, exfoliating the skin with ease and leaving it feeling intensely nourished without a greasy residue on the skin. I left the shower with skin that felt silky smooth and soft without any tightness or need of instant moisturising. This 150g tin of body scrub certainly lasted a long time, making it amazingly good value for money, especially as it is so affordable.
I am so glad that I discovered Horseshoe Bay’s Epiphany Salt Scrub through The Natural Beauty Box, as I love trying independent beauty brands that are dedicated to great, clean skincare. The way in which Horseshoe Bay are also environmentally conscious makes Epiphany, and their other scrub fragrances, on my wish list as they have been a true delight to use and would make great plastic-free gifts for friends and family.
Have you tried Horseshoe Bay Products yet? Let me know in the comments which is your favourite scent option.
