Inner Senses: Vibrant Earth Revitalising Detox Powder Mask (First Impressions)

After such an amazing experience with Inner Senses’ Quiet Earth Calming Powder Mask  last month, I couldn’t wait to try out Vibrant Earth Revitalising Detox Powder Mask which I hoped would give my skin the deep detox it needed.

Inner Senses’ Vibrant Earth* is specially formulated to clarify, brighten, heal and regenerate the skin to reveal a smoother and clearer complexion that is more luminous in its appearance. With a plethora of skin loving ingredients from Moroccan Rhassoul clay, Cacao, Spirulina, Activated Coconut Charcoal and Hibiscus flowers, to Baobab Fruit, Grape Skin Extract, Moringa Leaf and Rosehip Fruits, Vibrant Earth is full of all the antioxidants, vitamins and high quality ingredients your skin need to look and feel at its best.

The first thing that is noticeable when opening Vibrant Earth for the first time is the intense colour of the powder, which is much darker than it’s Quiet Earth counterpart. The naturally earthy and green aroma, which has a slightly medicinal quality to it, is very unique for a face mask yet has an uplifting and awakening element which is a real treat for the senses.   The texture of the mask is beautifully soft and finely milled, making the mixing process an exceptionally easy one. The mask when mixed with a little water and few drops of face oil, turns the deepest and darkest colour i’ve ever experienced in a mask, with an appearance of black treacle but a consistency which is silky smooth and incredibly rich. Due to the gorgeous texture, the mask applies to the skin with ease, and despite needing frequent spritzing to avoid drying out, it was an overall relaxing and pampering experience.

On mask removal, my skin certainly felt like it had received a deep cleanse and exfoliation from the skin loving ingredients that had truly detoxed my skin. My face felt smoother and was soft to the touch without any tightness or dry patches. My congested pores across my nose had certainly improved and my somewhat dull and lack-lustre complexion was definitely brighter. Vibrant Earth left my skin feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead, something which was a welcomed addition in my skincare routine.

Inner Senses face masks have certainly wowed me with first impressions, after using them both on a few occasions now, I can safely say that they are firm favourites in my masking routine. Inner Senses powder masks offer different ingredients and benefits to other masks i’ve used previously, as it was certainly a very different masking experience and one of which I can’t wait to replicate on a regular basis. What I love most about powder masks in general is the way in which they can be easily customised to what your skin needs, whether it be utilising your favourite hydrosol or selecting a face oil suited to your skin type. I can’t wait to put these masks to the test further, as both certainly deliver on their promises. Full reviews will be coming over the next few months so don’t forget to check back to find out more.
