Pure Savvy had been on my radar for a while when Steph, the founder of the brand, kindly offered to send me some products to try. After hearing some amazing reviews from fellow bloggers, I certainly couldn’t wait to try them all out for myself.

Pure Savvy was designed with busy women in mind, creating a range of products for the every women no matter how much time she does or doesn’t have to spend on her beauty routine. Each product aims to give women the ‘me time’ they deserve as not only are they easy to use but as most are multipurpose, they are also speedy in their application. The range was inspired by Steph’s love of natural skincare and was created from her desire to find simple yet effective products that gave great results and were simple to integrate within any skincare routine.

All the products in the Pure Savvy range are plant-based, natural, vegan friendly and come in glass packaging which is fully reusable and recyclable. What I love most is the simple yet modern design, with a clean palette of white, black and orange that reflects on the no nonsense ethos of the brand itself – and aligns itself with many luxury skincare brands on the market.

I’ve been trying the whole skincare range recently, except for the Multi-tasking Balm which I have since purchased after my experience with the other products. My first impressions were incredible to say the least, with each product slotting into my beauty routine with ease and firmly setting themselves amongst some of my favourite naturals products.

Pure Savvy: Come Hell or High Water 3-in-1 Micellar Water

I’m not usually a fan of Micellar Waters as I often find them drying and not as effective as other cleansers at removing make-up, dirt and SPF. Thankfully, Pure Savvy’s Come Hell or High Water couldn’t be more different, as not only did it wipe away all traces of the day with ease but thanks to its hydrating properties, came in handy as a facial mist too. The star ingredients of this Micellar Water are Snow Mushroom, Rose Water and Cucumber Extract to help lock in moisture, minimise signs of aging, maintain the skins natural PH, hydrate, moisturise and promote cell renewal. The scent is light and refreshing yet doesn’t linger on the skin after use. It leaves skin feeling soft and smooth with no feeling of dryness or tightening, and I didn’t experience any irritation at all. As a cleanser, it eradicates all traces of make-up, SPF and impurities from the daily grind and as a facial mist, it cooled the skin and revitalised it throughout the day and after cleansing. I have to say that I can see Come Hell or High Water in my cleansing routine for the long haul as it certainly made light work or the task at hand and was highly effective in its overall performance.

Pure Savvy: Just a Minute! Brightening Facial Mask

If there was one beauty ritual which takes the longest within our skincare routines, it has to be the weekly masking session that can take up to 30 minutes depending on the medium you use. If you don’t have time for such an indulgent pampering session then Just a Minute! is the mask for you. The Brightening Mask delivers on its promise to reveal a glowing complexion in just 60 seconds. The mask contains alpha hydroxy fruit enzymes and botanical ingredients to improve the appearance and feel of the skin by gently exfoliating dead skin cells and increasing cell renewal. You can see my first impressions of this minute wonder in my latest Natural Beauty Box Review when it featured last month, but I will say that if you’re looking for a brighter appearance with skin that feels soft and smooth, then this is just the speedy solution you’ve been looking for.

Pure Savvy: Just a Minute! Brightening Facial Mask – £40.00/30ml

Pure Savvy: Eye-To-Eye Revitalising Eye Serum

When it comes to skincare, eye products are one of the hardest skincare essentials to get right especially with the warmer weather that often causes eye creams to slid into the eyes. Thankfully, eye serums are the way forward, offering lightweight yet nourishing under-eye care without any greasy residue or heavy formulations. Eye-To-Eye from Pure Savvy is amongst the best i’ve tried, combining skin loving ingredients such as Snow Mushroom, Rose Water and Cucumber extract to lock-in moisture, promote cell renewal, minimise fine lines, balance, hydrate and cool the under eye area. The serum is weightless, with a non-greasy texture that leaves the under eye feeling refreshed and hydrated – without the tackiness often associated with water-based serums  I love how the serum instantly cools the skin and absorbs quickly after application yet provides enough hydration to last throughout the day. Once more, it can also be used over make-up to keep eyes looking and feeling refreshed throughout the day and as a little product goes a long way, it’s also amazingly good value for money.

Pure Savvy: Close of Play Overnight Radiance Serum

Close of play was the product that intrigued me the most out of the whole Pure Savvy range as the thought that I could get a more radiant complexion while I slept certainly excited me. Close of Play is very different to other serums i’ve used in the past as it has unique, light texture that is unusual for an overnight product. Beautiful ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Willow Bark Extract, Papaya Fruit Extract and Spilanthes Acmella hydrates, balances, removes dead skin cells, smooths and firms the skin – all while giving a instant brightening effect. The addition of neroli, sweet orange, cypress, lemon and petitgrain essential oils gives the serum a lovely light and fresh aroma which is certainly a welcomed addition. On application, I found a small amount of serum goes a long way, and it was surprising, yet refreshing, to use an overnight serum that wasn’t heavy at all. It left my skin feeling hydrated after use and in the morning, my skin certainly looked rejuvenated and felt softer and smoother than it did the night before. After using this over the past few weeks, I have certainly noticed a change in the overall appearance of my skin and I feel I have to owe it to Close of Play. It is no surprise that this skincare delight recently won the silver award for best night time moisturiser in The Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards earlier this month, as it certainly lived up to it’s rave reviews. For me, Close of Play is worth every penny, especially as a little serum goes a very long way. If you’re looking for a new nightly routine, then Close of Play is certainly a product you’ll want to try.

Pure Savvy: Power Surge Instant Skin Boost Facial Oil

If there are two things I love when it comes to skincare products it’s those that are multi-use and facial oils – therefore Pure Savvy’s Power Surge is the epitome of what I look for in my skincare products. Power Surge is not just a face oil, it is a multipurpose oil for smoothing the hair, nourishing nails, moisturising the body and even mixing with foundation to give a dewy finish. Power Surge contains CO-Q10, a powerful antioxidant to prevent skin damage and protect against free radicals. The addition of Spilanthes Acmella firms and smooths the skin in an instant while Watermelon Seed Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil and Marula Oil nourishes the skin without leaving behind any greasy residue. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks but have been enjoying it so far as the oil has a lovely citrus scent which is light and perfectly balanced and the texture is lighter than the oils I usually incorporate within my skincare routine. It sits well on the skin, soaking in almost instantly and leaving behind soft and moisturised skin in its wake.  I have only utilised Power Surge as a face oil and moisturiser booster so far (a few drops in your usual face or body moisturiser works wonders!), so I can’t wait to put it through it’s paces to see just how beneficial it can be in my beauty routine.

Pure Savvy: Power Surge Instant Skin Boost Facial Oil – £55.00

To say I have been impressed by the performance of Pure Savvy products is certainly an understatement, as the brand have truly blown me away with their innovative and highly effective range. Steph has certainly created something very special with her products, and even though they are a little more premium in terms of price point, they are certainly worth every penny. The concentrated formulations and beautifully selected ingredients means that you only need a small amount of product so they will certainly go the distance.  I am yet to find products that act as quickly as these skincare delights as they certainly live up to the promise of their ‘instant’  results. After using these for several weeks, I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite, as each product works in harmony with the others, slotting into my existing skincare routine seamlessly. They’ll be full reviews of each item coming very soon, as I can’t wait to share the long term effects with you to see just how far Pure Savvy products can go.
