Inner Senses: Raspberry Rose Replenishing Facial Oil (First Impressions)

There’s is nothing more exciting than one of your favourite beauty brands launching a new facial oil, especially when it takes a well-loved discontinued product and gives it a whole new lease of life.

When Inner Senses gorgeous Rose Precious Facial Oil was discontinued earlier this year with the promise of something bigger and better on the way, I was excited to say the least. The formulation of Rose Precious had always worked wonders on my dry skin type and had the most beautiful aroma and texture. Thankfully, Inner Senses lived up to their promise of something beautiful in the form of the newly launched Raspberry Rose Replenishing Facial Oil* that takes Rose Precious and adds the powerful properties of Raspberries to create a facial oil especially formulated with aging, dry, tired and damaged skin types in mind.

Raspberry Rose contains a blend of skin loving oils such as Camellia, hemp, argan, rosehip, jojoba, evening primrose and black seed, along with extracts of Bulgarian rose, Raspberry Seed Super-Critical CO2 and Raspberry leaf to protect, nourish, revitalise and moisturise the skin. Raspberry Seed Oil provides the highest SPF level of any vegetable oil and while it should never be used as a sunscreen on its own, it will help to protect the skin’s natural barrier against UVA and UVB rays while helping to increase skin’s elasticity and boost the protective properties of your daily sunscreen. The addition of Bulgarian Rose gives Raspberry Rose Replenishing Facial Oil it’s anti-inflammatory, healing and calming benefits that helps maintain skin’s youthful appearance, reduce redness and irritation and help protect from the elements.

As you can imagine, the facial oil itself truly captures the fruity and floral aroma of beautiful roses and fresh raspberries and is crisp and sweet in its fragrance. The texture is rich yet is light on the skin and absorbs beautifully to leave behind a dewy finish and a glowing complexion.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now in both my AM and PM routine and have to say that first impressions have been incredibly positive so far. The oil has certainly kept my skin feeling nourished and my complexion looking fresh despite the seasonal change. I’ve found that even throughout the harsh weather we’ve been having over the past few weeks that my skin has reaped the benefits of Raspberry Rose. I return from dog walks with skin that doesn’t feel wind-burnt or chapped and my skin certainly feels less irritated than usual at this time of year. I feel that I haven’t been utilising balms in my routine quite as much and it seems to be working in harmony with all my other skincare products.

I have to say that I didn’t think that Rose Precious could get any better, but the duel delivery of Raspberry goodness made elevated the facial oil to the next level and has certainly excelled in its results so far. I cannot wait to continue using it throughout the cooler weather and see how it continues to benefit my dry skin and dull complexion. Inner Senses never fail to impress with their incredible formulations that marry the benefits of beautiful skin loving ingredients with the power of aromatherapy to delivery great skincare every time – and Raspberry Rose is testament that the brand continue to strive for greatness in each product they create.
