Sarah, the founder of the brand, very kindly sent me a bottle to try at the end of last year and I have to say that it was clear to see why it has been so successful in the Free From Skincare Awards several years running. The oil itself contains a beautiful blend of skin-loving botanicals and oils formulated to help with a variety of skin types and concerns ranging from dry and sensitive, to oily and acne-prone:

• Jojoba Seed Oil,
• Argan Kernel Oil,
• Raspberry Seed Oil,
• Pumpkin Seed Oil,
• Squalane,
• Frankincense Gum Oil,
• Sweet Orange Peel Oil Expressed,
• Lavender Oil,
• Vitamin E,
• Sunflower Seed Oil,
• Geranium Oil.

The formulation itself is highly absorbent yet still provides long-lasting nourishing and hydrating effects that last all day long, leaving skin silky smooth and soft to the touch, while looking radiant in appearance. After using for several days, I noticed that my skin was looking and feeling brighter and more comfortable, and over several weeks of daily use, I was even getting comments about how good my skin was looking! The dry patches that often form across my cheeks were eradicated, my fine lines on my forehead looked softer in their appearance and the redness around my nose had certainly subsided.

After my usual 4 – 6 week testing period, I was still loving the oil so much that I continued to use it to the very last drop. What I found particularly special about Amaranthine’s Facial Oil was the experience, as not only did it leave my skin looking and feeling at its best but the spa-like aroma made each application feel incredibly luxurious. The long last face oil is exceptional value for money, with a blend that worked exceptionally well on my dry and dehydrated skin type. I loved how the oil also worked in perfect harmony with the brand’s refillable Superactive Day Cream, another product from Amaranthine that won my heart when I tried it earlier last year.

If you’re looking for a beautifully scented, affordable face oil that caters for a wide variety of skin types and concerns then Amaranthine’s Face Oil is the one for you. This Facial Oil confirms what I have always said about the brand; that is that their formulations are incredibly special and ones that I recommend time and time again.
