Guiltless Skin: So Many Products, So Little Time…

For those of you that have followed me over the past year, you’ll probably have noticed that Guiltless Skin are possibly my favourite skincare brand. With so many amazing products, and such great customer service, I often find myself with a steady flow of Guiltless Skin deliveries arriving at my door because when it comes to these beauty goodies, I struggle to restrain myself not to place another order…

Organic Argan Oil

I think Argan Oil was the first multi-purpose oil I encountered in beauty products when I was younger, as it is certainly used widely in the high street beauty industry. This Organic Argan Oil is very different to those used in mainstream beauty items as it is both high quality and cold-pressed, ensuring that it’s at its most potent, with nothing added, and will be more beneficial on the skin. Argan Oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamins which helps to repair and protect against weather and pollution damage, as well as being highly moisturising on hair, face and body – so it really is one of the most versatile oils out there. I rarely use Argan Oil on my face, as I prefer to use other blended oils, yet I love to use it as a hair oil, hand treatment and in body moisturisers to give them a boost if my skin needs some TLC. It makes my hair incredibly shiny and more manageable, is a great non-greasy alternative to hand cream and leaves my body with a healthy sheen that keeps my skin in tip-top condition.  It is a great multi-tasker which is suitable for all skin types, and one which I never like to be without.

Hydrate: Moisture Serum

ydrate

This was a repurchased item for me, as I previously reviewed it back in November, and I would honestly struggle to be without it. The serum is made with organic rosewater, which is naturally high in cruelty-free hyaluronic acid, and gives skin an intense boost of hydration which really lasts all day. It is very different to other hyaluronic acid’s I’ve used in the past, as it only leaves a subtle tackiness on the skin, and the light scent makes it a pleasure to use. Thanks to the addition of organic cucumber extract, you can also use Hydrate as an eye serum, as it can reduce the appearance of dark circles and any puffiness around the eye area. I love the new packaging, which has changed since my last review, and now makes it easier to control exactly how much product you need. Just one – two drops gives skin enough hydration to last the whole day, and I’ve noticed after long term use that my skin looks visibly plumper and generally healthier. This is certainly a product I will continue to repurchase as it is the best performing cruelty-free hyaluronic acid I’ve used.

Quench: Organic Face Oil

Quench

I can’t believe that this was the first time I’d used Quench, as it is the perfect skin saviour for my dull, dry and thirsty skin. Made with a selection of lovely cold-pressed oils including rosehip, jojoba, argan, moringa, grapeseed and safflower, it really is an oil which makes a big impact on dry skin. Guiltless Skin recommend using this through the winter months or as an overnight face oil, as it does have a slightly thicker texture to other oils I’ve used in the past. However, I do reach for this during the daytime too as I find that despite it’s texture, it absorbs surprisingly well and doesn’t leave my face feeling, or looking, greasy at all. What I love most about Guiltless Skin facial oils is the lack of essential oils, as I personally enjoy the natural scent which captures the very essence of the brand itself. Nothing is added that isn’t necessary, with every ingredient carefully selected for it’s effect on the skin. I’ve actually finished my bottle of Quench already, and have noticed that my skin is soft and smooth after use and the flakiness has disappeared. I’ve even had more make-up free outings since using Quench and feel that my skin has a natural glow that was missing a couple of months ago. I will be adding this to my next order as it suits my skin so well, and I’d recommend to anyone struggling with dry skin issues, or in need of intense hydration overnight.

My last order was another success, finding yet more Guiltless Skin products that will be part of my skincare routine for the foreseeable future.  Even though i’m a fan of all Guiltless Skin products, and am yet to meet one that I didn’t like, I have to say that their face and body oils are among the best I’ve used. They cater for such a diverse range of skin types to ensure that there’s an oil for everyone, and if you haven’t tried them yet, you are seriously missing out.

Have you tried any Guiltless Skin products yet? To browse their whole range, and find out more about the brand, then head over to their website.

Take Care,
