When it comes to body care, I would have to say that body polishes are my essential skincare item. Not only do they effectively exfoliate but they also cleanse, improve circulation and leave skin feeling and looking more radiant. Yet among all of my favourite scrubs and polishes, my recent experience with Orchard View Naturals’ Uplifting Body Polish has been among one of the most unique experiences i’ve had…
Since using OV Naturals Golden EDT back in July, the brand have been at the top of my wishlist. Thanks to the generosity of Lucy at OV Naturals, I was recently able to try out their Uplifting Body Polish, which is made from 100% natural ingredients, 75% of which are organic. The Uplifting range, which comprises of both a body polish and oil, has a blend of tangerine, eucalyptus, pink grapefruit and pink pepper to rejuvenate your mind, body and senses. The scrub also contains cane sugar, fine pink Himalayan crystal salt, grapeseed oil and vitamin e to keep skin in tip top condition.
The texture for me is perfection, with finely milled salts and sugar giving just the right balance of grittiness which doesn’t feel abrasive on the skin. The addition of oils in the body polish gives a nourishing quality, and actually makes skin feel incredibly moisturised after use without any greasy or oily residue.
Where the experience is very different from any previous scrubs and polishes i’ve used in the past is the scent, as not only does this smell incredible but it is also is mood enhancing too. I am usually the first to say that a skincare fragrance added to the pampering experience, but the essential oil blend within the Uplifting range really goes beyond the normal realms of smelling nice. Inhaling the zesty yet menthol aroma instantly clears the mind, encourages you to breathe deeply and lifts your spirits. The careful selected essential oils are perfectly balanced so each individual scent can identified and it isn’t overpowering in any way.
I feel like this is so much more than just a body polish, as it is a full pampering experience which relaxes and and lifts the spirits as well as leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and nourished. I love everything from the gorgeous packaging and essential oil blend to the texture and appearance of the scrub itself. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and Orchard View Naturals have managed to wow me yet again with another gorgeous product and I cannot recommend the brand enough.
The good news is that OV Naturals currently have a special offer over on their website where all their body polishes have 20% off (was £23.00, now £18.40). It is a limited time offer, and will expire soon, so now is the perfect time to try them out.

I’d never show my legs if it weren’t for body polishes. I love how they exfoliate – not to just make my skin look good but they are invaluable to prevent in-grown hairs a few day before and after wet shaving or waxing I’ve found. I like that you describe the scent as uplifting, as I think a lot of scrubs are too sickly sweet. Lovely colour to the jar as well.

I am exactly the same – I suffer from very dry skin so would have lizard legs if it wasn’t for body scrubs! It is such a beautiful scent, especially as we approach the cooler months when I tend to turn to products with a eucalyptus fragrance (and you can never go wrong with citrus!). Aww thank you so much, I sometimes think my photos are too simple and a little boring compared to other bloggers but I like the product to be the main focus. I really appreciate your feedback 🙂 xx

Exactly, all about the product. I actually don’t like those flat lays that are taken from far above and fit it in lots of little products, especially with a big items overshadowing them.

I completely agree. My eyes get a little confused at what I should be looking at when there’s lots of random objects scattered amongst products. I certainly believe that less is more x
