July’s Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box was the last monthly box before the bi-monthly plans come into action this month – and the final box of its kind certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Bon Voyage box was full to the brim of Summer Essentials to keep skin in tip top condition through the warmer weather and came in very handy in the recent heatwave we experienced here in the UK. The variety of the products and brands featured was impressive and I couldn’t wait to try everything out.

Skin Alchemists: Sesenne Chantwelle La Rose Facial Elixir

I am already a huge fan of Skin Alchemists as each product i’ve tried has not only delivered on its promise of great skin but has also offered a unique experience of pampering the senses as well as the skin. I am already a user of the Sesenne Facial Elixir, a blend of 24 skin loving ingredients designed to repair, nourish and rejuvenate even the most sensitive skin. The results provide a calmer and glowing complexion that is deeply nourished and beautifully bright. The deep, luxurious rose, jasmine and myrrh fragrance is intense yet perfectly balanced, and breathing in the stunning aroma certainly enhances the skincare experience. The Facial Elixir works in harmony with other skincare products, and despite it’s more premium price tag, is certainly worth every penny. If you’re looking for luxury natural skincare that delivers on its promises then look no further than Skin Alchemists.

No Secrets: Bath Jelly

When I saw that No Secrets had made another appearance in the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Beauty Box I was delighted – especially as i’d never tried a product quite like their Bath Jelly. No Secrets Bath Jelly offers an innovative and unique bathing experience and is certainly one which I can highly recommend! The bath jelly is like a pre-cleanse treatment and bath product in one, immersing both your mind and body into a blissful oasis of relaxation. The jelly itself has a gorgeously light and silky gel-like texture that rubs onto the skin with ease. As you get into a warm bath, the jelly begins to emulsify on the skin, turning milky as it disperses into the water. It doesn’t take long for the jelly to go from the skin to the water, creating a beautiful bath oil which pampers both the skin and senses. The aroma is heavenly, with essential oils such as bergmot, lavender and eucalyptus filling the room with a luxurious, relaxing yet reviving scent which makes the bath time experience like no other. My skin felt incredible after use, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and smelling amazing for several hours after use. If there is one bath product you need to try this year, it has to be No Secrets Bath Jelly – you certainly won’t regret it.

Badger Balm: Organic After Sun

I was very excited to try this After Sun Balm as although I’m not really a sun worshipper, I do suffer with skin irritations when the warmer weather hits. Containing a blend of cocoa and shea butters, as well as other skin loving ingredients such as olive oil, blue tansy, lavender, lime and sea buckthorn to name a few, the nourishing balm is formulated to calm, soothe and deeply hydrate dry and dehydrated skin. Even though the balm is designed with sun-exposed skin in mind, it can also be used as a complete body balm for all skin types throughout the year thanks to its moisturising formula with soothing and anti-inflammaory properties. The balm itself has a lovely silky texture and rubs into the skin with ease, leaving behind a very light, non-greasy sheen on the skin. The balm has a beautiful fresh lime aroma with a subtle medicinal scent from the blue tansy which makes it a joy to use. My skin certainly felt calmer and softer after use when utilised in my evening skincare routine and the appearance of the redness in my skin was greatly improved. This was the first time i’d used any Badger Balms and have to say that it certainly won’t be my last as the plastic free packaging and the amazing results i’ve experienced after using this particular balm certainly makes them a brand to explore further in the no-so-distant future.

Bain and Savon: Floral Salt Foot Scrubs

Nothing pleases me more than seeing a new scrub feature in a beauty box and the arrival of these mini foot scrubs was certainly a welcome addition to July’s box. These beautiful mini heart scrubs are made with fresh peony petals, sea salt, organic coconut oil and organic cocoa butter formulated to polish and moisturise dry feet (or body if you wish!). When it comes to scent, don’t let the small size fool you as the aroma is beautifully intense and leaves your feet smelling sweet and floral for several hours after use. I love the way that the scrub itself isn’t too harsh yet delivers on its promise of softer and smoother soles. When used on my feet in the bath, it doubled as a salty bath time treat for the whole body as it left my skin feeling nourished after dissolving into the bath water.  What I loved the most is the way it arrived beautifully packaged, so much so that I can already see these as token gifts for friends and loved ones during the festive period. If you’re looking for affordable foot care treats, or perhaps a little green beauty gift for someone special, then look no further than these mini foot scrubs from Bain and Savon.

AA Skincare: Frankincense and Rose Face Toner

*This review is based upon a replacement product provided by AA Skincare instead of the one originally received and photographed in the photo above due to a batch issue.

I have to say that I do love a rosewater-based product so was very excited to see this facial toner from AA Skincare appear in July’s box. The beautiful Frankincense and Rose Face Toner has a light, fresh and delicate floral aroma that is perfectly balanced and refreshing. The mist itself, made with a wealth of ingredients is a far cry from my usual floral water as the rose and frankincense waters are joined by witch hazel, honeysuckle, white willow bark, pomegranate and oat kernal extract to give the face toner its astringent yet soothing and calming quality. I have to say that the toner certainly lived up to expectations as it left my skin feeling refreshed after cleansing. However, as someone with a drier skin type, I have limited this to using this just in my evening routine as I personally find a toner such as this is a little too astringent for my skin when used more than once a day. If you’re looking for an affordable facial toner which delivers on its promises then the award-winning Rose and Frankicense toner might just be the one for you.

When it comes to amazing skincare products, Paula over at the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box has delivered yet again with another amazing box of skincare delights. The range of products in this months box literally kept my skin feeling great from head to toe and continued to introduce me to brands and products I may have not experienced without the beauty box.

With the new bi-monthly plans coming into action this month, the monthly boxes certainly went out with a bang. I’m looking forward to seeing what exciting products arrive this month and will be sharing my thoughts very soon.
