Meadow Skincare were among my favourite brand discoveries of 2019 thanks to their beautiful skincare delights that really made a difference to my skin and daily routine.

Meadow Skincare recently launched two new skincare items as they begin to branch out into body care products. They kindly sent me their new products to try a few weeks ago and I was excited to see how they compared to their already incredible product range.

One of the products was the Instant Hydration Body Balm which is formulated for daily use on dry skin to leave it feeling softer, smoother and intensely nourished.  The body balm contains some beautiful skin loving ingredients such as oat oil, safflower oil, apricot butter, kokum butter, vitamin e and argan oil to give the balm it’s silky smooth texture and deeply moisturising properties that leave the skin nourished without a greasy residue.

The balm has a lovely fresh and fruity aroma from the jar thanks to an essential oil blend of neroli, mandarin, bergamot, patchouli and grapefruit which is a treat for the senses as well as the skin, and makes it the perfect product as we head into summer. When applied to the skin, the citrus fresh scent begins to become warmer and slightly more earthy, while still maintaining the citrus notes in the background.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and fell in love from first use. I have a very dry skin type so am always looking for intensely nourishing skincare products that deliver on their promises. Thankfully, Meadow Skincare’s Instant Hydration Body Balm lives up to its name, as well as my high expectations, as it certainly left my skin incredibly soft after use and smoother over the period of just a few days.

Yet Meadow Skincare’s Instant Hydration Body Balm goes further than just an intensive skin moisturiser, as not only does it leave skin feeling nourished in an instant but when used over a longer period of time, it can also target scarring, eradicate dry patches and improve skin’s elasticity to prevent stretch marks (or even reduce them).  The balm is so gentle that it can even be used on skin post-shave without any irritation and is suitable for all skin types.

It is safe to say that this Instant Hydration Body Balm will be in my body care routine for the long haul as it has left my dry skin deeply moisturised, as well as feeling softer and less flaky throughout the day. What I love most is that the balm is highly concentrated so you only need the smallest amount to make a difference, making it amazingly good value for money.

Meadow Skincare: Instant Hydration Body Balm – £35.00/100ml

The best news is that during the current Covid-19 situation, when you buy Meadow Skincare’s Instant Hydration Body Balm, they will kindly donate one of their new Ultra Protective Lip & Hand Balm’s to NHS staff. It is great to see a brand making a difference, as these small gestures truly make the biggest impact and is an easy way for us self-isolating to thank those on the front line.

Have you tried Meadow Skincare’s products yet? You can see all my previous reviews here and don’t forget to check back over the next few weeks as they’ll be another review of their Ultra Protective Lip and Hand Balm coming soon.

Take care and stay safe,

Emma @ Beauty Folio x

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to me free of charge by Meadow Skincare. This has not influenced my thoughts and opinions in this review as everything on Beauty Folio remains #triedandtested with honest feedback on each product. I will never give a positive review on a product I don’t believe in just because it has been #gifted, and each product i’ve received free of charge will be labelled as such.

    1. To be honest there isn’t a Meadow product that I haven’t loved! Have you tried their Calm & Soothe Mask? That’s one of my essentials for sure. Currently testing out their Lip and Hand Balm too which is also amazing x
