If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know how much I love Kri Skincare as they consistently impress with effective, organic products and ethical ethos that makes them stand out in the green beauty market.
Their cleansers are among some of my favourite products within their range so when they launched their new Unveil Oil-to-Milk Cleanser* last month, I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Unveil was due to be launched later this year yet when Covid-19 caused supply issues that stopped the production of their Purify and Refine cleansers, the brand decided that it would be the perfect time to release their new product – well, when life gives you lemons, why not make lemonade?!
Unveil is unlike anything in the existing Kri Skincare range, with an evolving formulation that will eradicate all traces of make-up, impurities and SPF from the skin without leaving it tight or dry. I am already a huge fan of oil cleansing within my routine but sometimes, especially during the warmer weather, it can feel a little heavy on the skin. Unveil is the perfect compromise, as you have the performance of an oil cleanser with a lighter formulation that creates a milky emulsion which rinses away from the skin with ease.
Kri Skincare’s Unveil contains some beautiful skin loving ingredients including Safflower oil, Vitamin E, Camellia oil, Sunflower oil and Grapeseed oil, with the emulsifying element naturally derived from Sunflower oil. The cleanser itself is lightweight and has good slip over the skin, allowing you to massage it into the face with ease for a deep cleanse. Wet hands will then begin to emulsify the cleanser on the skin, creating the most gentle, milky texture which simply rinses away with water or a damp cloth, much like a facial wash or cleansing bar. What I love most about Kri Skincare’s products is that they are all fragrance free so are perfect for sensitive and problematic skin, as well as those who prefer non-scented products in their routine. It also allows the delicate aromas of the oils themselves to shine through which I personally enjoy as the product smells exactly as nature intended.
I’ve been using Unveil for several weeks now and have to say that it is possibly one of my favourites from Kri Skincare’s cleansing range so far as it fits into my routine with ease and has been the perfect addition during the warmer weather we’ve been experiencing recently. I’ve even been using it through an eczema flare-up and have experienced no additional irritations or dryness on the skin, even around my eyes, as it is such a gentle formulation. My skin is left feeling clean, soft and nourished with every application and has become the cleanser i’ve been reaching for time and time again.
If you prefer a more lightweight cleansing product, but love the performance of an oil cleanser, then Unveil is certainly the product for you. It also comes in a generously sized 100ml glass bottle, which makes it incredibly good value for money, as well as 10ml sample so you can try before you buy full-sized. If you’re a repeat customer, you can also repurchase without a pump to reduce your impact on the environment by re-using your existing packaging. This just shows the passion and dedication the brand have for the environment as well as great skincare, as they ensure that you will find the product that is perfect for you without compromising on their ethos and eco-friendly values that sets Kri Skincare apart from many other brands.
