I first tried Ezàpè Naturals back in April and as far as first impressions go, I was blown away by the quality and instant results achieved by both their Rosemary Body Butter and Chamomile Balm.
After featuring the brand in my Giveaway earlier this month, the lovely Vanessa sent me some slightly larger pots as a thank you*. As the brand has seen a few changes since my previous review, and as they currently have an amazing promotion over on their website, now seemed like the perfect time to revisit the products and update my review!
Ezàpè Naturals is a small, independent skincare brand in the UK which offers two incredible products designed specifically for dry and problematic skin types. All their products are lovingly handmade, cruelty free, and use a high percentage of organic ingredients.
Rosemary Body Butter
When it comes to skincare, there’s nothing better than using a product created with minimal ingredients that give maximum results. This is certainly the case when it comes to Ezàpè Naturals’ Rosemary Body Butter which contains only 5 ingredients to showcase that less is certainly is more. The whipped butter contains organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, Vitamin E, organic rosemary essential oil and organic sunflower oil to ensure that even the most dry skin is moisturised and nourished. The benefits of using rosemary within your skincare products are plentiful, as it is naturally antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, therefore it is no surprise that it can aid those with eczema. The body butter itself is intensely creamy, with a little product going a very long way. It rubs into the skin with ease, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy like many other body butters i’ve tried in the past. My dry skin, which suffers this time of year, appreciated the nourishing butter and was certainly softer and smoother for a longer period of time than my usual body moisturiser. As I said in my previous review, I did in fact use it on some eczema patches and noticed an improvement after a few days as it left my skin calmer and less flaky. The rosemary scent is a refreshing change from floral and fruity body butters and is a treat for the skin and the senses. The great news is that since April, Ezàpè Naturals 25g Rosemary Body Butter comes in zero-waste packaging and the full sized 150g jar is now in a glass jar to further reduce the impact upon the environment.
Balms feature heavily in my skincare routine, as anyone with dry skin will tell you that they are the ultimate skin saviour – especially during the cooler months. Ezàpè Naturals Chamomile Balm is formulated to help with dry, chapped and irritated skin which needs a calming and nourishing boost. In a similar way to the Rosemary Body Butter, the Chamomile Balm also has minimal ingredients, containing only organic beeswax, organic coconut oil, shea butter, aloe extract, calendula oil, Vitamin E and organic Roman chamomile to ensure that the balm only contains the very essential ingredients. The balm has a very subtle chamomile fragrance, and has a beautiful silky smooth texture which melts into the skin. I have found myself reaching for this on several occasions, from a lip balm and cuticle treatment to a foot balm and skin soother. The balm instantly moisturises and soothes the skin, and certainly stops the itch of irritated skin and patches of eczema in an instant. I love how versatile the balm is, especially as it can be used on sensitive skin as well as babies experiencing nappy rash or dry patches of skin. Both the 20g and 60g version of this chamomile balm are in a glass jar to help reduce the use of plastic.
Ezàpè Naturals really have created such amazing products for dry skin; products which will truly come into their own during the cooler months. The quality and presentation of the products is exceptional and the reduction in plastic packaging is certainly a step in the right direction. The best news is that they now offer free delivery as standard, so you’ll only ever pay for the products you receive!
Another exciting announcement, as mentioned above, is that there is currently a promotion on both full-sized products! Until the end of October 2018, you can get over 20% off the full-sized versions. Who doesn’t love a bargain? Don’t miss out – head over to their website for all the details.
