Cut.Le.Crap are a no nonsense beauty brand dedicated to creating natural, unisex products that take the hassle out of choosing conscious skincare.  The brand are completely transparent when it comes to both their ethos and the ingredients they use within their formulations so you know exactly what you are buying and utilising within your beauty routine.

The brand had been on my radar for a while so I was pleased to see them feature on Blomma Beauty*, where I decided to give my hair a much needed treat in the form of Cut.Le.Crap’s Natural Hair Oil. The blend of beautiful oils including apricot kernal, avocado, macademia nut, argan, lemongrass, rosemary and clary sage, is designed to promote hair and scalp health on all hair types.

The anioxidant-rich formulation, which is also high in essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, softens, strengthens and adds shine to your tresses while also maintaining and healing dry scalp conditions, strengthening hair follicles and helpsing to reduce dandruff and other flaky scalp conditions.

What I love most about Cut.Le.Crap’s Natural Hair Oil is its versatility as not only does it smooth your hair post-styling but also protects the hair from heat damage when used in your pre-drying routine too. As well as this, Cut.Le.Crap’s Natural Hair Oil also makes for an intensive dry scalp and hair treatment before shampooing to pamper your locks even more.

I have to say that despite having dry ends of my hair, I often struggle with hair oils as they can leave my hair heavy and looking a little greasy yet i’m pleased to report that I have been impressed with Cut.Le.Crap’s Natural Hair Oil from first use,. Not only does it smell incredibly fresh with a slight herby undertone but the oil itself is lightweight yet so concentrated that the smallest amount nourishes my ends beautifully and adds a shine that doesn’t make my hair look or feel oily.

As a styling product on dry hair it works wonders yet where I feel it excels most is on damp hair as it smooths flyaways and controls static making blow-drying my thick hair a very pleasant experience. Once a week, I do like to treat my hair to an overnight treatment, using several pumps of oil massaged into my scalp and down the lengths of my hair and popped into a shower cap while I sleep. I may look slightly more scary than usual in the morning but my hair feels amazing and my scalp remains flake-free all week.

I have to say that this hair oil is among my favourite hair products to date as the performance and quality of the oil has certainly exceeded my expectations and made my hair more manageable in the process. The brand’s no-nonsense attitude is refreshing, especially as there is no definitive instructions on how to use the hair oil – as everyone is different – so you can really implement it into your routine in a way which works best for you.

20191201_173453.jpgAfter my experience with Cut.Le.Crap’s Natural Hair Oil, it is certainly no surprise that they are the Ethical Consumers Best Buy Brand and a beauty brand that I cannot wait to explore further in the not-so-distant future.
