I am a firm believer in the importance of brands stocking smaller-sized products in some shape or form, not only to determine if a product is suitable for your skin type before committing to a full-sized purchase but also because they are incredibly handy for your travels. Amaranthine have gone one better with their latest release, a beautifully curated gift set that is also perfect for giving the gift of green beauty this Christmas, and all year around.

Amaranthine has been among my favourite brands for several years now and never fail to impress with their stunning formulations, ethical ethos and attention to detail.

This Natural Skincare Gift Set is certainly no exception, with all the products you need to complete your skincare routine from cleansing to moisturising the skin. In the gift set you’ll find a mini cleansing balm, lip balm and a face mask of your choice, as well as three muslin cloths, all housed in a branded organic cotton bag with a zipped opening. The products are suitable for all skin types by default, but having the option to select a face mask of your choice allows you personalise the set to your needs, or the lucky recipient’s skin concerns.

Amaranthine: Cleansing Balm

I previously reviewed Amaranthine’s cleansing balm back in 2019 and loved everything about it, from the glorious texture to the addition of papaya fruit enzymes that gently exfoliate the skin while eradicating all traces of dirt, SPF and make-up from the skin.

You’ll find my full review here but it safe to say that I am thrilled to have rediscovered this gem within my beauty regime.

Amaranthine: Lip Balm

A lip balm is an essential at this time of year and despite this being the first time trying Amaranthine’s bestselling balm, i’m sure it won’t be my last. Despite its minimal ingredient list, the nourishing formulation sits well on the lips and leaves them feeling soft and smooth.

Containing a blend of organic and fair trade raw shea butter and beeswax, organic raw cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, peppermint essential oil and natural Vitamin E, the balm not only forms a protective barrier on the lips but also treats any dryness and inflammation. The peppermint essential oil works beautifully with the natural aroma of the cocoa butter to give the balm its signature chocolate minty scent that smells good enough to eat. This has been a great addition to my lip balm collection and will certainly be a repurchase for me.

Amaranthine: Rejuvenating Face Mask

Face masks are an essential ritual in our weekly skincare routines and this one among my favourites. I first tried this last year when it was first launched and my love for it hasn’t dissipated, as its essential oil free formulation makes it perfect for sensitive skin days.

I personally love these mini mask pouches as they are a great way to try the range and are easy to store or take on your travels. Check out my full review here to find out more about the Rejuvenating Face Mask or to find out about the other masks available, you’ll see my previous reviews here.

Amaranthine: Face Oil

I’m a huge face oil fan and this award-winner from Amaranthine really is as beautiful as it sounds. As this is perfect for all skin types, the selection of oils within the formulation have been carefully selected to give great results on a wide variety of skin concerns from dry patches and redness to fine lines and uneven texture. Packed full of essential fatty acids, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals needed for a healthier complexion, it is easy to see why this is such a popular product from Amaranthine’s range of skincare.

It has a beautifully lightweight texture that is highly absorbent yet still gives skin an intensive boost of moisture. It has a stunning aroma that is a real treat on the senses, with an essential oil blend of lavender, organic frankincense, sweet orange and organic geranium bourbon that is beneficial on the skin as well as calming the mind. This may only be a small bottle of facial oil but it is certainly mighty, and one that is already on my wishlist.

Amaranthine: Muslin Cleansing Cloth (x 3)

Reusable cleansing cloths are a must as we are all do our bit for the environment and these cloths from Amaranthine are great quality and value for money.

Muslin cloths are dual purpose when it comes to your cleansing routine, not only helping to wipe away traces of product but also gently exfoliating the skin with each use. Amaranthine have ensured that the size of the cloths are slightly larger than you’d expect to accommodate shrinkage you naturally get after the first few washes, ensuring that you will always have ample cleansing cloth to do the job. The fact that you get 3 within this set showcases Amaranthine’s attention to detail, ensuring that you have a clean cloth for your cleansing balm and face mask, with a spare to use while the others are in the wash. It is these touches that make the brand very special, and this set one of the best i’ve seen.

It is safe to say that I have been really impressed by the Naural Skincare Gift Set, as both a gifting option and a way of discovering more products from the Amaranthine range. For what you get, I feel that Amaranthine’s Natural Skincare Gift Guide is among the best value gift sets i’ve seen, with the Glow & Behold cosmetic bag being a great addition to use long after the skincare is gone. If you’re looking to give the gift of natural beauty this year, then look no further than this beautifully curated set from Amaranthine.
